You are a student enrolled in a Grimm fighting school, Beacon. Your goal (to put it bluntly) is to become a huntsmen/huntress to stop the increasing Grimm population from overpopulating all of Vale. This is possible through the combination of 2 things: Dust and aura.

Every living thing on the planet has aura, from trees to bears. With this aura you are able to unlock your hidden potential, allowing your body to do extraordinary things such as increase your movement speed or even change polarity! Dust on the other hand is an external force. Found underground, "Dust" is a crystal that enhances aura, can give the user special abilities, and can be used as ammo for their weapon.

With these items along with your trusty dual-weapon of choice, you can become a Grimm killing machine. What you do not realize is that their is more to it than just stopping these disgusting creatures. There are criminal organizations, gangs, and armies plotting to achieve their own goals.

Will you stay on the path of righteousness and become a noble warrior? Do you prefer to be a criminal mastermind whose plan is to overthrow Vale? Maybe your looking for true love, or maybe you just want to slack off and go to parties. What you do is up to you......

Species:Human or Faunus. (Human is self explanatory). Faunus are very similar to humans but bare animalistic traits such as ears (animal ears also retain normal human ears) or tail. Some types of Faunus are more common than others, example being Faunus with mammalian traits are the most common. Some faunus may have inherent night vision. Faunus may have other less apparent traits such as retractable claws, animalistic eyes and food preference. e.g. a cat faunus would like tuna. (Note: If you have traits of an animal that can help you in battle, you will also have downsides of that same animal as well. 1 negative for each positive.)

Weapon: Your weapon can be a single weapon, however in the RWBY universe 99% of the people own hybrid weapons. This can be something as simple as a rifle with a bayonet or something as crazy as a rocket launcher katana. You would be able to switch your weapon form at your command, allowing for maximum flexibility during combat. As explained above Dust can be infused into the weapons to give various effects such as elemental attributes. Include a picture of each form of the weapon (2 weapon pictures of each form if hybrid. 1 If picture has both forms or using a non-hybrid weapon.)

Fighting Style: How does your character fight? is s/he calm and collected, strategizing before rushing in or does s/he charge in guns blazing with complete disregard for their own well being and the safety of others?

Aura Type: What kind of skills your character will have. Basically, an example would be speed. Your skills should revolve around said aura characteristic. The physical, more tangible projection of ones Aura is called Semblance, Semblance can be combined with Dust to add greater diversity such as adding elemental effects. 40/40 (NOTE: This is essentially the energy system. Your aura is tied to your life force. The lower it gets, the more fatigued you will feel. Hitting 0 could make you pass out or sustain physical/mental damage.)

Basic Information

Personality
Harblu is extremely outgoing. She is mostly serious majority of the time, but she also knows when to put that seriousness aside and when to be social. That aside, she also acts like a military general. Harblu carries a german accient with her. She was inspired by Nazis. Shes all looks, and could easily be broken when her sister is mentioned. This is her on the outside.

In the inside, she is broken. Still mourning over the loss of her sister. Extremely depressed, and always giving into the personal demons inside her. Harblu could never feel truely happy. She is depressed, and she hasn't gotten over the loss of her sister. Sometimes, she even sees her sisters ghost. She has strong social appearances to hide this. She is inbetween the 4th and 3rd stages of grief: Depression and Bargaining.

Backstory
Harblu came from a very interesting family. Harblu's family tree is rich with military experiance. Harblu however is the first one in her family to really show care about the supportive role on the battlefield. So naturally, she learned like everyone else in her class, and she also took some time on the side to study the body, how it works, and medicine.

Why she went this route was simple: She wasn't good with anything else really. She had trouble holding up in 1v1 situations, she had trouble dealing with Grimm by herself, she didn't even discover her aura yet. All the other kids knew what their aura was. Harblu knew she had it, but she had no idea what it was.

Harblu had a sister by the name of Clementine. Clementine is a very dear person to Harblu. Unlike Harblu, Clementine was a disgrace towards the family. Not only was Clementine a faunus, but Clementine had no talernt on the battlefield whatsoever. Clementine was special in her own way.

Clementine was the cook for the family. She was a really talented chief. That aside, no one ever ate her food. Not even her own family. That didn't mater to Clementine. She always had a smile on her face. The fact that Clementine could deal with this kind of prejudice killed Harblu.

When Clementine was alone, she would cry herself to death. Who wouldn't if your own family wanted you to go to hell? Harblu always stood by Clementine's side. Harblu and Clementine loved eachother extremely deeply. Harblu would always be there for when her twin sister got punished. Harblu often rebelled against her family if they were being mean to Clementine. It wasn't hurt fault for being a faunus.

One time, the sneeked out of the house on a rainy day. That didn't matter to them they wanted to have some fun. That day, they took a picture together ( https://i.imgur.com/nQl9HJz.jpg ). They took it in a phone booth, and they chose that specfic background. It meant something to them. They then got themselves two lockets, for Clementine she got herself one shaped like a heart, and Harblu got herself a dogtag locket. They then ripped the picture into half, and stored them into their lockets, making sure they would fit perfectly. They loved each other very much.

So, when Harblu designed her weapon, she had no idea what would work. So, she went to Clementine. Clementine was always a creative one. Harblu knew she would be the perfect person to go to for this kind of stuff.

"Well sissy, isn't it obvious? If you like medicine so much sissy, why don't you make your weapon one based off of healing?." Clementine told Harblu, giving Harblu a smug smile.

And so, Harblu designed her weapon. Her Medigun Crossbow. It looked well designed to Harblu's knowledge aswell. And in honor of Clementine, she named her design "Overseer's Shot."

Overseer was the name Clementine's mother went by. Clementine didn't know her for that long. Shortly after Clementine's birth, Overseer was assasinated. Overseer was good friends with Harblu's mother, Marisa. Marisa took in Clementine as a favor for Overseer. However, the rest of the family did not like this act of adoption of a faunus. Marisa was harshly tortured and no one ever saw her again. The family kept the Clementine around, just to mock her, bully her, torture her. Clementine was an outcast.

Clementine would have turned to crime if it wasn't for Harblu. Harblu was the best sister she could be. But that didn't change anything later.

Eventually, the family started to rise up. One day, when Clementine was being detained, Harblu snuck her some food. This was an act that Harblu was did for her sister Clementine. However she was caught. So, the family took both Clementine and Harblu, and gave them harsh whippings, tortured them to no end. They even went to the extent to burn Clementine. Clementine was helpless. And this one time, Harblu couldn't do anything. Clementine even smiled while she was getting burnt alive towards Harblu. That killed her. And that was the last thing Harblu could remember. When Harblu woke up, she found where Clementine was gone, and everyone else gone. She had no idea what happened that night, it was as if she lost that memory. All she knew was that her sister was gone. Dead. Burned to her knowledge.

Harblu was still forced to live with her family, relucantly. She was always on her best behavoir, and she always impressed them out of fear. Deep down, she was broken. She couldn't help her sister. Her sister was counting on her. Why couldn't she do something? Your a disgrace, you should have helped your sister. Inside her, her personal demons were strong.

Harblu eventually got herself into Beacon. If anything, Clementine's death to her gave her a stronger will to fight harder, train harder, work harder. On the outside, she worked well with people, was social. She acted like she was a general. She knew what she was doing.

Sometimes Harblu would see her sister's ghost. The death of her dear sister haunted her. She figured she could throw away that locket and her medigun, but those weren't options. She needed them. She wants to remember her sister but not like this. Her own depression is one battle that she's losing, and she has not cured it yet. Shes been fighting this battle for years, up to this point. And she never won.

Weapon
Harblu has a hybrid Medigun Crossbow, also to her as "Overseer's Shot." ( https://i.imgur.com/7fV73eG.png (Crossbow) + https://i.imgur.com/rtZfuJD.png (Medigun) However, on the medigun is a trigger, and the crossbow is rigged and built so that the synringies and the crossbow part is ontop of the medigun). She cannot fire her crossbow, and heal someone at the same time.

For her crossbow, the crossbow will fire 1 syringe at a time. The effect of the syringe will vary depending on the dust loaded into the crossbow. Its effects will be increased depending on range. The longer the range the syringe travelled, the stronger the effects will be.

For her medigun will also have varied effects depending on the dust used. Mediguns will all build up uber, and will gain 12.5 ubercharge per post she is consistently healing someone. All of her mediguns will heal her target up to 150% health. Ubercharge is capped at 100%. Depending on the dust she puts into her medigun, ubercharge will have varied effects, however all ubercharge effects will last for 4 posts. Harblu can fly with a target that is flying, and move as fast as her healing target is moving.

Depending on the dust put into the medigun, Harblu and her target will not only have a varied ubercharge effect, but until she pops ubercharge, she and her target will have a damage resistance bonus (10%) against moves and attacks that involve the dust that she currently has in her medigun. Her medigun can only use 1 dust at a time. The effects of what her ubercharge will do will last until she manually sets it to its default setting, or she puts in a different type of dust. After popping ubercharge, Harblu and her target will no longer have their 10% damage reduction bonus from that specific dust type. You can tell what dust type she currently is using by the color of her beam, which will change depending on the dust last used.



  • Default "Uber": Invulnerability for Harblu and her target. Uber will take 1 post for it to fade, even once Harblu reaches 0 ubercharge. After it fades, Harblu and her target will become vulnerable again.
  • Yellow & Purple "Kritz":  Boosts Target's and her own damage output by three.
  • Green & White: Grants immunity to movement-impairing effects, increases healing by 300%, fully heals aura (target only), and will remove any status on Harblu and her target.
  • Blue & Cyan: Creates a bubble around Harblu and her target that gives them both 75% Damage Resistance.
  • Orange & Red: Allows the usage of any ubercharge pop but Harblu can pop her ubercharge and use up the orange dust to revive an ally. Basicly it can act like a defibulator. She can only use this within the 3 posts of someone dieing. If there is interruption of the process, they will die.


Fighting Style
Harblu is the medic within the battle. She doesn't do the fighting, but she supports those who are doing the fighting. If someone is trying to fight her, Harblu will do the best she can do to kite. She thrives on her teammate's protection. She also is generally really good at shot calling. (IE, telling people what to do and when to do it).

Personality: Kaori is a very quiet and orderly person, who only speaks when spoken to or if the time calls for it. Although he's very quiet, Kaori is a kind and gentle person who cares deeply for those he considers friends. Even though he is a boy, he dresses in a way that is sort of feminine, with tighter clothes and a short hoodie. He looks very brooding when he walks by himself, but he really isn't; he just likes listening to his headphones and thinking while he's alone. When he's around friends, his quiet demeanor is quickly forgotten and instead replaced by a happy and light-hearted personality. However, due to his backstory involving constant bullying, Kaori has 4 separate personalities, and will snap into one of them depending upon the situation:
-Normal/Happy: Kaori
-Tense/Angry: Shaula
-Upset/Emotional: Banshee
-Afraid/Timid: Kaus

Backstory: Growing up, Kaori was raised by a single mother, a Huntress who graduated from Beacon academy. She taught him how to use her signature weapons: Throwing cards. From age 6 onward, Kaori was trained in the art of Card Throwing, and soon, when he enrolled in the academy, he designed his own form of cards and began training as a swordsman. However, because his cards were never considered "cool" by the uppers, he was picked on quite frequently and beat up after school. On top of that, he was picked on for how he looked. Kaori was born with more feminine features than masculine, and so he looked just like a typical teenage girl by the time he hit puberty. As such, he dressed more feminine than a boy would; he didn't wear dresses, but he wore tighter-fitting clothes and such. His mother never objected, and even supported his lifestyle, encouraging him to keep pushing on. Since he was picked on a lot, Kaori learned early on to cherish any friends he made, but before he makes them, he is very shy due to his fear of being picked on.

Weapon: Transforming Cards: Kaori has a set of bladed cards that can be thrown with expertise due to his extensive training. Each card, however, is built mechanically in a way that makes them as thin as an ordinary playing card, but can change shape and serve several purposes, such as EMPs, Flares, bombs, drones, and if they are put together, a sword. The sword itself, once completed, has an extended barrel on top of the non-bladed part of the sword, holding and firing up to three 40-caliber bullets. For this, Kaori carries a sheath for the sword in case he doesn't want to separate them. The sheath itself has a trigger upon the tip, which, when pulled, fires blanks from the sheath, causing the sword to rocket out of it at the same velocity as a bullet. To protect his hand from the force, Kaori wears a protective glove upon his right hand. The sword may also detach into just a normal sword and rifle combo, may split into two short swords with revolvers at the end, or just form into two high-powered revolvers.

Fighting Style: With Cards: Kaori prefers to fight passively and strike when the time is right. Usually he'll throw off the enemy by using some of his cards as bombs, or placing smoke down to cover his tracks.
With Sword: Iaido Style (Sheathing and Unsheathing); Kaori still fights passively but instead of relying on distance and tricks, he'll keep a close eye on the opponent and track their movements before striking at any chance he may get.

Aura Type: Multiplicity; Kaori's aura changes depending on the personality in place. Each personality has one specific power special to it along the generic power Kaori has.

Face Claim: Mack is young looking considering his age. He has messy brown hair and his eyes are a dark blue, his mouth is small and has sharp teeth. His own skin is a bit darker than the regular white person, like he's always tan. He usually wears a dark blue, long sleeved shirt with a slight turtle neck, white dress pants as well as black dress shoes. Underneath his shirt he wears a pendant from his mother, the chain made out of gold, the item a small toy fire truck from back when he was a kid.

Personality: Mackiphix is a calm and collected person, he despises fighting, only fights when he is forced to. If there are other people that are good enough to fight he would let them do it instead of himself. He's cold and makes sharp remarks to any person he meets. Its not till later where he's grown with them that he starts to calm down and only open a little bit. He hates being questioned, as if he's always on edge, although he keeps on a straight face. That's only how he is with other people, but inside he has a personal goal, to find the thing that killed his mother, wether it be an actual human being, a grimm or a faunus, he could care less about saving the world from the grimms or being a grimm killing machine. Only using the school as a way to get strong. Mack does have a nice side though, its rare to see it but its there, he likes nature, it reminds him of his mother the most, there are other things that also reminds him, but not as much as nature. He doesn't fall in love quick, he's only ever truly loved his mother, he had never found a girl to be attractive in that sense. And finds it hard to call someone a friend, or have someone at all try to be his friend.

Backstory: Mackiphix was born in a small town. In the middle of straight no where to an single mother. Her name was Joanne and she cared for him with so much love and care. Mack's father had died in a construction accident a year ago just around the time Macky was conceived, he was a strong man that was known by the town, he helped around alot. When he had died during the funeral Joanne had gotten a lot of "Sorry's" and "If you need anything just ask" She also got a lot of parting gifts, a way for the towns people to say sorry to her and her unborn child. When Mack was born, it was a rainy day, known as an Omen in the small town. The town itself was known for its two huge power plants. It supplied energy for a good chunk of the land around the area, they would get a lot of visitors. As Mack grey up in this town, being ignored by the kids because of his supposed "Curse" He would spend a lot of time with his mother Joanne. He would help her cook, they would play together in their backyard, go out for walks, just have a fun time together as a family. At one point, there was an almost perfect day. The sun was shining beautifully, the flowers were their brightest color and the two of them would just lay there looking up at the clear blue sky, they layed there till it started to rain, which was why it was almost perfect. Because it started to rain for a week, in this week was the week before Mack's birthday was supposed to pass. The towns folk shrugging it off as wet week, didn't really mind the rain, so did Joanne. Macky though didn't really feel right, he knew something bad was going to happen. It wasn't till the end of the wet week, his birthday. That things went completely off a cliff. Mack had woken up that day confused, he couldn't see her mother anywhere, and when he went outside he saw no one. The sun was shining bright, the birds were chirping and the two power plants werent working. They would always work, he could tell because there was no
smoke there. As he looked carefully he could see a figure laying atop the chimeny. He didn't pay it much attention though because he started to look for his mother. He started to walk away from the power plant chimneys. The more he walked away the more he started to notice things were bad. There was smoke coming from fires, which were ablaze on buildings at this point. His mind petrified, calling out for his mom even more at this point. He ran to the edge of town, he would see dead body's hanging from the metal skeletons of the buildings that were destroyed, as if they were trophies. As he got to the edge of town he met the huge desert that surrounded the town. There were blood trails everywhere but there was one that went out into the blazing desert. As his eyes followed up at it he could see a small figure walking, it was holding something. As Macky looked closer he noticed that the figure was holding someones hair, and as Macky looked down he saw his mothers face, eyes wide open, mouth hanging, bobbling whenever the figure would take more steps. Macky was ice cold. Broken. Stabbed. Killed. His whole life was done. All he cared for was his mother. Tears were starting to run down his eyes, his whole body letting itself go his knees catching him. He looked up into the sky, there was a single cloud. And that cloud seemed to have set it off. Macky screamed. He screamed out everything he had. The figure ahead of him stopping but didn't turn around. It looked like it was just listening to the beautiful music that was coming from behind him. Then it started walking again. Walking into the desert. Never to be found again. Leaving a child with a broken mind. Alone in such a disgusting world to survive on his own. Finding himself in a sort of new way. Promising his dead mother that he would find that person. And kill him with his dead hands.

(These chains are as long as you can let me make them)The spear can break into 2 pieces turning into Chakrams, the spear itself breaking apart to make spikes around the chakrams. Both of these are infused with Dust to give them an electric effect. It can be used to distribute a small-medium shock, or it can be placed in one spot creating a strong charge effect if it makes contact. The Weapons name is eapons name is Joanne.

(Add, i dont know if im allowed but i want it to turn into a double barrel shot gun as well. I made some designs of how it would look like turning into its stuff and things in school today cause i had fucking 4 Free's xD the bullets of the shotgun are just electric rounds. Personality: Normally Brady is calm and collected. He can be pretty smart at the best of times and is sort of a strategist. However if someone decides to get him mad or attack those he considers as friends, he will enter a mode he calls Pissed Mode. This turns him into a berserker with enough strength to grab stop signs and road bumpers and rip them out of the ground to use as makeshift weapons.

Backstory: Born Brandon Marukada, Brady lived a pretty normal life with an older brother, a little sister, and a loving mother and father. Brady however had an inner temper that made him reckless on occasion. It did not help that his older brother was practically perfect at everything he did while Brady, a much skinnier kid, could not. Brady's temper flared one day and he tried to pick up the refrigerator in his home to attack his brother with. He managed to pick the fridge over his back and lift it with his arms until his bones broke and he went to a hospital. After that, he started becoming more and more violent as people started insulting him for his little stunt and he broke more bones exacting revenge and many victims were sent to hospitals. It grew so bad that his victims were called a 1025: Case of Brady's Rage. One day on his way home from school in yet another cast, a woman went to him and said how he should not try to be like this and gave him a free bottle of milk to drink. From then on Brady developed his first taste in love of the young woman named Britney and he kept visiting her day after day.

One day, he noticed the store Britney worked at was being robbed. His hormones and his emotions drove him to ram a street sign into the window to kill the robber, but he accidentally hit her as well and put her into a coma. Since that day, Brady declared to never use his strength to harm others. Thus he dedicated himself to the sciences and history to one day greet Britney a new man. Then one day he was kidnapped by a scientist who was Britney's father. He then said how he noticed the boy's strength and wished to help him get strong enough to protect the ones he cared for. The scientist gave him an injection that laced his bones with a study form of metal coating that made it so he was much more resilient. He then gave him a custom weapon to use so as to not rely on using stop signs and road bumpers as weapons; a custom rifle sword that is fueled with a gem called Dust. Brady then declared to protect those that he felt were worth saving while punishing those who decided to do wrong.

Weapon: His hybrid weapon of choice is a rifle sword made by Britney's father. This rifle is fueled by a Dust Core and fires bullets of Dust. Depending on the type of Dust loaded into the rifle, it has the power to shoot various elemental bullets and by pushing a button on the stock, a Laser Blade forms and can cut down a building in half with his extraordinary Strength Aura and Metal enhancement. He can also use his extraordinary strength to grab and tear street signs and road bumpers from solid concrete to use as weapons if his rifle is ever out of Dust to fuel the core.

Fighting Style: Brady is typically a tactical fighter and knows when he is out classed. However when he enters Pissed mode (being at 20 or less), he becomes a berserker with little care except a drive to kill those who hurt the ones he cares for and finds worthy. He typically will fight dirty in this mode and can destroy entire kingdoms with his inner strength.

After this mode runs it's course, Brady becomes physically exhausted and will tend to look for a safe place to crash or fall right in an instant.

Backstory: when kino was young he was forcufly trained by his father in the art of sword combat, this started around age 5. kino would train day in and day out constantly, just to pleas his father. he would normaly use just a bamboo train ing sword to train with and spar agence his father. even thow kino was agence the training at first, he started to enjoy it as the years of training went on. around age 8 he was walking down a dirt path with his father on one of his few breaks from training, after a while of walking a un known man stepd out of the tree line in front of kino and his father. the unknown man was wearing a black hoody and jeans with his hood up and a bandana covering his mouth. he was holding a hand gun that he soon pointed at kinos' father. the man was yelling at kino's father to give him any money he had but the father had nothing at all. he tryed explaining it to the man, but than the man looked down at kino and said to his father that he would take the kid insteand, just as the man reached for kino, his father steped inbutween them and pushed the man slightly. the man dident hesitate but to pull the trigger of his gun, shooting and killing kino's father. his father fell back, landing flat on his back next to kino, kino looked back at his dead father, fear, shock, sadness, anger, all of these emotions were going throw kino. he dident hesitate but to quickly look at the man and tackle him to the ground, he was hiting him as he was down but it dident do mutch. the mans gun had been nocked out of his hand. kino was than nocked off the man buy a masive punch from the man, nocking him twords were the gun was. kino struggled to get up, noticing the gun, he grabed it and pointed at the man that was coming twords him. he pulled the trigger of the gun multiple times, practicly empting the clip into the man. the man soon fell infront of kino that was on the ground siting up. when the man hit the ground some of the blood had splashed at kino, landing on his face.

kino's hands had started shaking to the point were he droped the gun. tiers in the cornner of his eyes as he slowly got up. when he did he slowly made his way to his fathers body, on the verg of crying as he looked at his now dead father. falling to his knees and leaning over slightly, he started crying and screaming out in sadness, his arms were suporting him up as he was leaning forward. he stayed there, continueing this for hours until some pepole passing by had disoverd him and the body's. even after his fathers funeral, he continued his training, pushing his ability's to the limit to live on his fathers legace. one day he hopes to find the absolute limit of his ability's.

Eve Will is quite the young woman very creative, assertive, anayaltive and really enjoyed conversations with quite a bit of depth and really brings her to life. When outside of a battle situation Eve is quite elegant, friendly, very professional, loyal and shows a large amount of respect even if deep down she feels someone isn't worth her time.  

People not worth her time are Generally commonfolk or simpleminded people; They get on her nerves, are just boring and despite willing to put her life on the line for these people she would rather not be in the same room.

Eve has a very strong personality keeping her emotions buried deep never letting a single emotion show if she can help it. Despite being one to keep her emotions in check, this mainly applies to negative emotions she has no problem showing she is driven, passionate or her happiness. 

Backstory: Eve trained as a swordsman in her home village learning a unique style of fighting from her old man, who names she was never permitted to learn.

Has a secret goal to wipe out the entire population of the Grimm due to multiple bad experiences during recent years though she doesn't plan to do this in a conventional means of hunting them, but more of a permanent solution and it won't matter how many innocents she steps on to do it. .
Additionally due a point of pride; she want to give civilisation a gift of light that will last beyond her death.

Weapon: Eve Will uses three swords which each are hybrids in their own right and normally used in this manner though, they are actually part of a much larger weapon a Scythe but she has no conceptual knowledge of this aspect let alone how to use a Scythe.
Part 1: Is a Katana which handle is a Small pistal with 14 rounds, aimed at inflicting Damage and creating a nice recoil.

Personality: Quaid is a very confusing person. He calculates all of the pros and cons of a situation...and then disregards them completely. He isn't an idiot, he just doesn't care. This odd behavior has been a staple of Quaid's since a very early age. Quaid is often very hyperactive, but also very pensive. He is normally rather kind-hearted and concerned with the safety of others, but he can also be extremely impulsive and hot headed when he gets annoyed or just downright mad. He knows when to respect someone's authority, and also when to question it. He has a very strange relation with girls; it's not that he's anti-feminist or gay or anything like that, it's just that most women make him extremely uncomfortable, and some of them can even terrify him.

Backstory: Quaid was raised in a small town near Beacon. He never knew his father, but his mother was a beautiful and intelligent lady who was a professor at Beacon(she taught the history of hybrid weaponry) and an active member of the Vale militia. She loved Quaid very much, and she promised she would protect him to the greatest of her ability until she died. Upon turning five, Quaid lost his mother to the Grimms, forcing him into a depressed state. Her military comrades greeted him at his doorstep to give him the terrible news, as well as to bequeath her final belonging to him; a red scarf with a note that said: "To my dear little Quaid, may you always prosper in your life, with or without me." They had also suspected that something strange had happened to her, as she had rushed into combat and not come back out. They found her blade buried to the hilt in the soil, and when they pulled it out, it shattered to pieces. Unsure of what to do, Quaid ran off and lived on his own in the school, bawling his eyes out in solitude for five days with his face pressed into the scarf until he was found by some teachers. But instead of going to an orphanage, he was taken in by one of his mothers associates at Beacon, Dr. Cross, who originally taught a different class but had filled in his mother's role as a teacher by filling in for all the classes she taught as well. She was very kind to him, and since she didn't go home until late hours of the night, Quaid spent most of his day at the school with all of the students. All the students and teachers at the school seemed to know him, and they liked to spend time playing with him and teaching him things. Throughout all of this, Quaid always wore his red scarf, he almost never took it off, he was even hesitant for Dr. Cross to take it away so she could wash it. Being a little boy, Quaid was very inquisitive and would always ask questions. He saw the other students carrying around their weapons of choice and always wanted to know when he would get his own weapon, and Dr. Cross would always laugh and say: "When you're older, dear. Just be patient."
And so Quaid was patient.
When Quaid wasn't at the school or at home, he liked to wander around the forest near Vale. Once Quaid turned eight, he went for another leisurely trip into the forest, except this time he found that something was different. Some paths that he thought he knew and he SWORE that he had carved out himself weren't there anymore, as if the entire layout of the forest had changed. He kept walking, hoping he wouldn't get lost, when he came across something he had definitely never seen before; a large stone altar with a sword inside of it.
The sword was beautiful; painted with every color of the rainbow imaginable, and glowing with a green aura of power that Quaid was certain only he could see. However, Quaid's fascination was driven to fear by what came next.
"Well, kid, it looks like you were the one destined to remove me. Are you gonna do it or not?"
Confused and frightened, Quaid backed up, then panicked and ran after hearing the sword talk. He decided not to tell anyone about the event, not even his legal guardian, Dr. Cross, and he wouldn't return to the forest for two years.
The two years after Quaid's encounter with the mysterious sword in the stone, he lived his life as he normally did, hanging out at Beacon with other people. However, after he turned ten, Quaid learned of something that caught his immediate attention while sitting at breakfast with Dr. Cross. She told him that they were going to build another wing to the school, and that they were going to level a nearby forest to do so. Quaid took off running to the forest, where he remained for an hour searching for the sword, until he finally found it. The sword spoke almost immediately.
"I see you've returned...two years get pretty lonely, you know."
Quaid exhaled and spoke back. "Are you...my weapon?"
The sword replied back. "I'm not quite sure what you mean, my young friend. Might I know why you returned for me?"
"I'm here to save you. The forest is gonna get chopped down soon, and you along with it."
The sword laughed. "Silly thing, do you honestly think I can be stopped by something as trivial as that?"
Quaid ignored it and stepped up to the altar. "I'm destined to remove you, right? Here we go!"
He pulled the sword from the stone with relative ease, to which he blacked out.
Upon fainting from the blinding light of the sword, Quaid dreamed. He dreamed of very strange dreams, they plagued him. All he could see were people getting massacred, being destroyed in front of his very eyes, and images of Grimms, from his extent and knowledge. Finally, he could hear a cackling female voice while looking at her. She was beautiful, but in a haunting way, her hair was purplish, her eyes were gold and she was beckoning him forward with a long, curved finger. She resembled a Grimm somewhat, but he couldn't be sure. Then the entire dream faded to black.
When Quaid awoke, he was in the nurses clinic at Beacon, which he recognized because he had once cut his finger with a stapler while trying to help Dr. Cross with something. He was greeted by four boys who were 6-7 years older than him, wearing concerned faces. "H-hi...how long was I out?"
"Quaid, you okay, big guy? The lumber guys found you in the forest passed out and brought you here. You had this in your hand." Rasa, the first boy, explained, as his best friend to his left, Coronus, held up a sword, THE sword, and handed it to him, followed by a pat on the back.
"Congrats, man. You have your own weapon now."
Quaid was both happy and confused. The sword spoke to him again.
"Feeling alright? You were twitching in your sleep."
Quaid thought it would be weird to talk to the sword, as the boys around him clearly hadn't heard it. So he tried responding in his head.
"I...I don't know, Sword...I had a weird dream..." He felt like he should be traumatized by the images he had just seen, but somehow he wasn't. To his surprise, the sword responded.
"I see, I see. Well, it's all over now. And no need to call me 'Sword', that's demeaning, it makes me think I'm not special. The name is Sylvan Excalibur."
After having a thourough checkup, Quaid left the building and ran back to his house to find Dr. Cross and show her his new sword, except he was now feeling strange about it. Except he couldn't find her anywhere. Her ceremonial blade that she used in special occasions was buried hilt deep into the linoleum floor. Quaid pulled it out, and it shattered to pieces. A look of realism spread across his face. Dr. Cross was gone.
There was a large funeral for Dr. Cross, just like with Quaid's mother. He was saddened, and everyone was constantly trying to comfort him. After the funeral, numerous people offered to take Quaid in, but he declined. He decided that he would live and train on his own with the support of the rest of his student and teacher friends, and he set up an empty room for himself by decorating it with his stuff. He suddenly developed a strong fear for girls, mainly because of the dream he had had that fateful day. He tried to use his weapon, and he mastered the capabilities of it, as well as learned a bit about his aura, also discovering that Sylvan Excalibur could transform into a shield(though the voice still stuck with him regardless of the form), and by the time he turned 16, he was ready to enroll in Beacon as a student, and live up to his mothers legacy.



 
Weapon:
Quaid's weapon, Sylvan Excalibur, morphs from a sword into a shield by expanding and folding outwards, almost instantaneously. Both the sword and the shield have three ranked tiers of power. The weapon also manifests as a strange voice inside of Quaid's head, helping him to make decisions and decide how he feels about certain things. This voice remains attached to Quaid, so even if his sword is missing or broken, the voice will remain with him forever.

Personality:Torch Is very Bold and out there, he speaks whats on his mind and doesn't give a fuck what anyone else thinks. He has an ideology that nothing belongs to one person, that they just possess it and it is free for anyone to take it if they have the skills to. He is rarely serious, and loves humor. He is always joking around and loud most of time.He is adventurous, and loves starting danger in the eye. He like to try new things even though he knows he might not like it. Because of his background he is very free spirited, and has a hard time following orders given by others. He is hotheaded and competitive. When it comes to friends he doesn't show affection like most people do, but if they are in the need to any help he is willing to set aside his agenda and help them.....if there is anything in it for him as well, but only sometimes.

Backstory:Torch was born and raised on the sea. He never stayed in one place and was constantly on the run, Mosley being due that his father was an A class Pirate that pillaged and ransacked everywhere they went. Being born this way he was raised by his fellow crew mates and his father the em famous Gangplank. Sadly his mother wasn't part of his life because she had died due to unknown reasons, and gangplank only kept Torch with him to pay some respect to his now dead lover.Torch was born and raised to be ruthless, and not give a fuck about anyone else but his crew-mates and himself. 
    Over the journey of his life torch had picked up an uncanny talent at engineering, and technology, mostly due to the fact that one of his closest friends was the ships mechanic. When Torch reached 10 he was known and respected among the crew, he had pillaged his fare share, as well as done damage. The mechanic seeing him growing up decided that it was high time to give him his own set of weapons. So days on end both the mechanic and torch worked on dual plasma guns. By the time he was 12 they were completely finished and he named them the twin calibers because of his excellent marksmanship he had showed over the years. 
    One day while they were sailing peacefully on the sea his ship was attacked by a group of pirates that had banded together to cripple the already super power known as the Blaze Pirates. The battle was fierce and intense torch witnessing crew-mates dying left and right and his father trying to hold them back as best as he could. Torch was lost and confused. Before he knew it a rival pirate was coming charging at him aiming to impale him straight through the chest. No matter how hard torch wanted to get out of the way, the amount of fear he felt was paralyzing. the blade came rushing at him but as if it seemed out of thin air the mechanic appeared in front of him taking the blade to his lower right side the blade going almost completely through and plunging into torches right eye. He screamed.But not because if the pain he felt form him loosing an eye, but the pain he felt form loosing the closest person to him. When torch crumbled to the ground his body began to feel hot. Tears where coming down form his left eye and as the did they appeared to be hot and steamy. Seconds after his body began to burn. He looked upwards through the searing pain to the the pirate that had stabbed the mechanic take the blade out of him, and then slit his throat. The mechanic fell dead on the blood stained wood. The pirate then raised his sword and brought it down hoping to insert it in torches throat. As the blade made contact with his skin, a large burst of heat pulsated out of torch, which set the whole ship a blaze as well as severely burning the murder of his dear friend. Torch looked at his body seeing that it was engulfed in flames, and that the entire ship was in the same state. He felt a sharp pain go through his head, and a surge of dizziness. He had lost to much blood. Torch fell limp to the floor. 
    When he awoke he was drifting on a single piece of plywood. The entire ship had been burned down, and the surrounding ships had either caught fire because of the embers or sailed away. He turned around on the piece of wood and looked into the sky, the sun blinding him. He touched where his right eye had been, and started to laugh. He laughed for hours, maybe even days while drifting on that piece of wood. He was so mentally destroyed  that he would only notice later that a  weirdly marked tattoo of a dragon, had been imprinted on his chest, as well as his arm.

Fighting Style: When Torch fights he is usually highly aggressive, making sure to keep the opponent on their feet, not giving them time to rest. When he feels like he cant do much from afar he can go close as well. The outside of the twin calibers are harder , and more effective then vibranium, he is also trained in gun to hand combat.

@Tama: I'm not sure you know the size of a .40 cal. Thats literally a sniper round from the lighter Barrett. You definitely cant have 6 rounds of those in a clip unless the revolver mag is like. a half foot in diameter. I would say 3 rounds if they are .40 cal (not realistic but makes a hell of a lot more sense.) Besides that it seems fine to me. Also The illusion needs to be cut down to 3 posts not 5

To be honest, I really do not know the sizes of bullets, I just looked up what they looked like and went "I can work with that" xD I changed it to 3, and I fixed my Phantasm ability to 3 posts, since I actually thought I made it less than that.

Personality: Zach is a very strange case, he tends to be fun energetic and loveable. Even though on the outside he seems like a kind person zach is crazy mentality. He enjoys the suffering of others and even toys with people emotionally and mentally just to get a kick out of it. He looks down at everyone unless you manage to gain his respect and once you do that he swears undying loyalty to you. This makes him extremely untrust worthy as his loyalty changes from person to person. His friends and family are all seen as disposable unless he has a real emotional connection with you which is very unlikely.

Backstory: Zach was never this messed when he was young infact he was normal. He never grew up with a terribe family, he wasn't bullied despite his small stature. Things were nice his family expressed deep love for him and he showed it by doing his best in school. He was seen as an extremely intelligent young lad until his studies got more intense. His family started to pack on the work this would cause him to overwork himself and become stressed out by every little thing. This soon affected his relationship with his friends and soon drove them all away as he put his work above everyone of them. He would push himself to the breaking point and this eventually took a toll on his mind as he started to disconnect himself from reality just to escape what felt like weeks of agonizing work. No one really noticed it not even when the signs showed but Zach would occassionally harm small animals. It interested him in how he can making anything feel weak. Zach soon started to learn how to systematically make his family feel irrelevant by manipulating their weakenesses. This soon boiled down when he started to enjoy messing with people. Either it be physically of mentaly. He soon started to take an interest in being a hunter and chose that as his career in life just so he can enjoy the thrill.

Weapon: Zach weilds a chain whip sword. This blade is a normal katana with a red and black coloring to it. When its in its whip form it can extend up to twelve feet. This blade changes modes by Zach gripping the blade and forcing the bottom end to extend which causes the rest of it to extend.

Fighting Style:Zach loves to take his time with any opponent. He tends to have the fight drag out if its a weak enemy just so he can enjoy watching them suffer as they learn they can't win. He is also very dirty when it comes to fighting he has been know to throw dirt in peoples eyes, stab their feet or slash their achilles tenden.

Face Claim: Catie is the very definition of cute. She's short with perfect, pale skin, big green eyes, and shoulder-length silver hair. A small button nose sits in the center of her face, and full lips rest under it. She has perfect teeth, as well as a beautiful smile. She seems to be caught in a constant blush, and although she's far from muscular, she certainly has some tone to her. Her breasts are approximately a B cup, and this accompanied by her other features make her look more like she's fourteen than seventeen. In terms of animalistic features, she has chinchilla ears and tail, as well as similar eyes. Her fur is the same color as her hair.

Personality: Caitie is, were it to be put simple, daft. She's goofy, lighthearted, shy, and never really dwells on anything or gets particularly angry. In fact, if anything, despite her defensive nature in fights, is rather delicate. It's not uncommon for her to cry or sob, and she's emotionally hurt so easily it seems as if she has the mentality of a small child. In general though, she's quick to make the scarce friend she can, and loves small talk. In battle, though, something changes. As if a switch is flicked on, the seemingly sweet demeanor fades away to reveal something strangely sadistic. The same laugh, smile, and glint in her eyes remain, yet the source of her joy comes from being able to pain her enemies. Slowly, agonizingly, and gleefully.

Backstory: Caitie, being a faunus, was never really accepted or brought into a good home. Born and raised on the streets for most her childhood, and never really knew any sort of love. Her parents were killed at a time before she could really remember, and only instincts alone got her through a good portion of her life. Living on trash, dirty newspapers, and hateful looks and occasional beatings form others, Caitie seemed like she was destined to be left to the dogs.

Yet, there was a small glimmer of hope. On an unknown day at an unknown time, a still unknown man approached Caitie. He extended his hand, offered her warmth, shelter, comfort. For more than one reason, she didn't trust him. Faunus were historically discriminated and treated poorly. Physical violence against them was not uncommon and the law rarely enforced anything pertaining to it, and verbal lashings were even more common and attempts to stop them were just about non-existent. But she had no other option. And so, she took his hand.

And she was happy. The man was kind, loving, caring, just as he had promised he would be. For the first time every, Caitie had felt the warmth of a bed and the love of a family. Five years later, and the love was still there. She was the happiest she had ever been, and why shouldn't she have been? Everything had seemingly worked out.

Well, there's a certain meaning with the word "seemingly". Deceit: and that's just what happened. One night when Caitie was sleeping in that same, warm bed, the man approached her with a knife in hand and a malicious smile on his face. The instincts were still there, however, and Caitie's eyes shot open when she felt the looming presence. Her body shot out of bed, and the man stabbed and slashed wildly at the frightened and broken chinchilla girl. With her natural speed and capabilities, it wasn't long before she was running from the yelling and angry man, still swinging that dreaded knife. A knife forged of lies and trickery. Caitie had been betrayed, and she would never be the same.

She put on a much more cheery attitude after the incident. She always smiled, through the pain and assault, never really looked down. But the constant feeling of depression, that petrifying feeling, never left her. The ones who are most damaged always did seem to smile the brightest.

That was four years ago. Now she comes to Beacon, in search of what the school's name was so well-known for. A light that would guide her in her struggle in life. Hope. She would search for that hope, her own hope, past the broken soul that resides within her.

In addition, the hair will combust upon reaching the appropriate temperature, but will not cause other surrounding fur to catch on fire. In addition, she can willingly cause small patches of extra fur to grow to fully block her eyes, mouth, nose, ears, and any other orifices if needed.

Description: Caitie's tail fur becomes extremely hard and packed for a short duration, not only encasing it in a difficult to break or cut barrier, but also making it a dangerous weapon. |Personality|
Kali is quiet and extremely shy around new people, not knowing how to act around them, because of this she can typically be found sitting alone with a book. However despite what would appear to most as a calm, patient demeanor, Kali is actually very impatient, being unable to wait for something she wants and gets quite agitated, sometimes to the point of frustration, if required to wait too long. Though she is impatient in getting what she wants she is also rather indecisive thus is unsure of exactly what it is she want to have or do.

|Backstory|
Kali was born into a small tribe of Faunus that lived a nomadic lifestyle on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Vale and as such has never encountered a human being for her enrollment in Beacon Academy. Growing up outside of the protective walls of the Human Kingdoms meant the tribe was constantly at risk of attacks from Grimm and thus the adults taught the children combat at an early age, encouraging them to develop their own fighting style and custom weapons, a tradition that some members had brought from human Hunter Academies.

Being one of the only avian Faunus of her tribe, the only others being her parents Kali developed a fighting style that took advantage of her ability fly and lightweight frame. Combat was not the only thing taught to the young Faunus though, they of course received a standard education, especially on the Faunus Rights Revolution and the reason why they chose to live outside of Human controlled territory. Not all members stayed with the tribe however, some left to join a resistance group known as the White Fang in hopes of gaining full rights so the tribe could live among the humans with no discrimination whatsoever. Others chose to enroll in the Hunter Academies, looking to better their combat skills in order to push the Grimm further away from the borders of the continent, creating a safe zone between the humans and the Grimm for the tribe to live while others fought to dissolve the discrimination they still faced as a species.

When Kali turned seventeen, the typical age when one decided if they would stay or venture out into the world Kali chose the latter, enrolling in the Hunter school known as Beacon. With her bags packed she said her goodbye's she flew off to the very edge of Vale where she landed, folding her wings into a cloak so as to not draw unwanted attention to herself and found more conventional means of travel to reach Beacon.
