The Spirit Force: Chapter 9 [The End Part 1]

Kado sighed as they climbed the tower.

"Screw this...I'll get us there in no time." She looked at Harmony.

"But um...For it to work you gotta hold my hand." She extended her hand as her cards fluttered around the two of them. She completely ignored Viola.

As the girls held hands, the cards surrounding them began to blink them up over and over until they were at the very top of the tower.

"We're here."

The shadows were completely unaffected, as they were just solid shadows. When attacked, they phased and resolidified, then attacked him again. Shadows rose from under Gajeel to block the swords, black flames forming a pair of swords around him to battle Efreet. The second Efreet would clash with him, the shadows would pierce through Efreet. These shadows cannot harm Gajeel.

As the bells and the chimes rang out through the arena, the shadows all dissipated and Shinyo was left falling to the ground. He saw his red eyes clearing and through them, he saw his team, the people he knew as more than friends. As a family. He called back all his summons and he said, "I... I know this song..." He remembered his mother, a kind young woman playing this song on a grass-whistle leaf. Emotions flooded Shinyo. Happiness, Sadness, everything. He said, "Mother..."

Ayann came up and noticed Kado had blinked Viola and Harmony back to the ground and Viola said, "What is this song?" Ayann smiled and with a tear he said, "Prayer... Hope... Love... Call it what you want but I call it Oracion."

Shinyo then had his armor fall off and his face was clearly shown. He was doing something he has not done in 7 years. He began crying... He cried his sadness and his anger away. He cried realizing he attacked the people he called a family. He cried away the emotions and Viola came up to him. Shinyo was sobbing saying, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry... Please... Forgive me..." Viola held her hand to Shinyo's cheek and said, "It is all over Shinyo. Hush now..."

Shinyo then grabbed Viola in for a hug and said, "I... I saw you die... That was what made me snap Viola. I... I can't live without you. I... I love you Viola..." Viola blushed and she accepted this. They hugged for what felt like an eternity. It did not matter what the team did. All would be well...

Right as Shinyo finishd his sentence, he would feel a fist smash against his face, his body being sent flying backwards and smashing through multiple walls as Gajeel yelled, "IDIOT!" at the top of his lungs. "And you talk to ME about emotional control!?" It is to be noted that Gajeel did not go berserk when he saw his clan killed, instead he controlled it.

Jaden tried to walk with Sasha as he went to grab Shinyo with Connor.

Shinyo was in a daze and he said, "Right, now that that is out of the way... what the hell happened to Anubis?"

Cobra heard music start to play, well isnt that odd.

(Intelligence)"Cobra look upwards maybe thats were its coming from."

Cobra looks up.

Cobra then looked back down."Eh, lets get back to the.....wait a sec. My knight was not there. Intelligence i swear. did you move my piece."

(Intelligence)"Of course not, why would i do such a thing, and when would i have the time."

"Hmm. i dont know you told me to look up, not to mention i was winning."

Cobra puts the piece back to its original position.

Intelligence smacks cobra in the hand with her tain then moves it back.

(Intelligence)"Stop cheating, your just mad that you messed up!!!!"

"Blaspheme." Cobra goes to reach for the piece.

Intelligence hisses at cobra.

(Intelligence)"I know this is out of character, but if you touch that piece will cut you."

"Cut me? You dont even have hands.......oh wait i..i...i..i didn't mean it like that."

(Rage)"He did it now."
(Greed)"Hu, not this again."
(Affection)"COBRA THAT WASNT VERY NICE!!!!"
(Fun)"Welp this wont be fun)
(Intelligence)"NO HANDS, DID YOU JUST GO THERE, YOU KNOW HOW SENSITIVE THAT IS TO ME!!

"Hey intelligence i didn't mean it..."

(Intelligence)"Yes, you did you jack ass!!!"

Intelligence dissipated and went back into cobras mind.The Toxic chess board disappeared.

(Intelligence)"_{its not my fault i don't have hands, that's just how we were made."} 
(Affection)"Oh pls, embrace how we were made, snakes are the best."
(Greed)"Ya we got all these cool things."
(Intelligence)"_{hands, hands, why cant we have hands of all the things, I mean all we are just tails with heads!!!"}
(Rage)"Fuck this shit."

Cobra crossed his legs while in his cloud and started to mumble to himself.

"You just had to go for the hands, and why does intelligence have to be so sensitive, I hope this doesn't last as long as the other one did, god im hungry."

Firebreath walked up to him. Although he didn't fight he was there in the background watching them out of complete entertainment. "Anubis ded friend." Firebreath said.

Shinyo sighed saying, "Damn, wished I could have killed him." He then saw the pile of scraps of Anubis and saw his coat was still in one piece. He took the coat and put it on, remembering it was the traditional coat of the king. He then walked out with Jaden and Viola as a crutch and they faced the crowd outside. Shinyo then said to the crowd, "My people... You.. are FREE!!!!!"

The crowd went berserk to say the less and they started tearing down all of the statues of Anubis and Shinyo turned to Ayann and said, "Can you take over for now while I am gone? I need to clear the honor of the team. Then I will return."

Ayann nodded and said, "You got it my prince... no... my king."

Shinyo smiled and he and the team walked back to the ship. Connor helped get Shinyo in his bed and said, "I hope you have a good rest Milord." Shinyo nodded and started lulling to sleep.

Viola awaited outside his door and was blushing. She replayed that moment in her head over and over again and she was enjoying it every time. She lowered herself to sit on the ground.

"That was easy."

Kado sighed and had her arms crossed over her chest.

"All that shit for a bag of shit." She shook her head.

"Whatever...Mission accomplished." She held up one of her playing cards, but instead of a number or picture, it was a video program, similar to skype. On the other end, was Dea, who took a hit from his bong scythe.

"Ey Ka-do, Daddy-o knew you could do it! I'll give ya your next mission in a few days, ya dig? Have fun!" In the background, Kado could see another figure...a naked figure. In disgust, she turned off the video and put the card away, walking back to the others.

"Can we fucking go now?"

Connor got into the cockpit and flew everyone back through the portal to the human world. Him and Shinyo slowly shifted back into their human forms. Meanwhile Viola went into Shinyo's room and sat next to him on a chair. She was blushing still and she thought about Shinyo for a bit. She leaned it a bit to kiss his forehead and said, "Good night Shinyo..." Viola decided she'd stay and watch Shinyo until he was up and feeling better.

"Oh come one you dont have to be like this every damn time."

(Intelligence)"Yes i do!!!!! now apologize cobra!!"

"Fine, im sorry."

(Intelligence)"Nope, APOLOGIZE."

"Im sorry intelligence"

(Intelligence)"You know what i mean."

Cobra sighs and rolls his eyes.

"I am sorry oh divine mistress of knowledge and intelligence, i am but a mouse in your path, i am nothing compared to your radiance, please spare me." Cobra sighed."Snake princess...."

(Intelligence)"That's better!!!!!"

"No, everything is not easy to me. I wish it was." He sighed, shaking his head. "Anyways, I'm hungry so let's go to the ship why don't we?"

"Hehe..." He darted his eyes.

Connor set the ship on auto pilot and he went to go see Viola only to see Harmony outside Shinyo's room. He looked inside to see Viola rested in a chair beside him. Connor sighed. His lord finally found love. He knew they'd end up together someway or another. He looked to Harmony and said, "Hey there Harmony, how are you?"

Kado sat within the ship, flipping a card around in her fingers. She looked around at the ship in disgust. It was so plain and boring...It had nothing worth taking. With a sigh, she put the corner of the card in between her lips and sat back, staring at the ceiling.

"Mary...Why couldn't I have been the one to kill you...why'd you have to die to some illness like a bitch..." She closed her eyes, and before she knew it, she fell asleep.
