Hello there, this is Necro coming at you with a New Role Play event. The Name of this freestyle RP is Enter the Power Zone. Now this is going to be a unique RP with a new mechanic I shall introduce into these duels, which I shall explain in a second. Firstly though, the PLOT:

Plot: In a far futuristic world of Patronika, lays the city known as New Zone City. In this city, duelists control their monsters in more than just ordinary duels. A corporation known as Seiga Enterprises manufactured unique cards known as the Zone Spell Cards. These Zone cards have a special power that allows the duelists to fight alongside their monsters in what are known as Zone Duels. These Zone Cards also allow the monsters to assist in solving challenges that occur in their masters’ everyday lives. While some use these Zone Cards for sporting events; such as the Grand Duel Tournament and the Zone Obstacle course challenge, there are those who use the Zones for evil purposes. This type of a Zone duelist is known as a Terror Zoner. Terror Zoners are known to force people into Dark Zone Duels, duels where the loser of the duel must relinquish their Zone Card to the winner. Terror Zoners are infamous for using their Zone Cards to destroy peace in this world; such as destroying buildings, breaking into banks, and for war based combat. As such, a special task force was formed to bring down the threat of the Terror Zoners, known as the Anti-Terror Zoner Task Force, or (ATZTF). In this world, some people choose to assist in taking out these terrorists by joining the ATZTF, while others do the opposite and cause mischief. The main threat comes from the Evil Terror Zoner Organization called T.Z.E, who's leaders are on the most wanted list of the A.T.Z.T.F and who's goal is unknown.

So probably the first question coming to most people’s minds is, "What is a Zone Spell Card?" Zone Spells are spell cards represented by a field spell that exists in Yugioh and have unique effects. Typically, the effects are customized to benefit the user's deck and/or to hinder certain other decks. Now then, when making your Zone Cards, I do have a rule in place in that you cannot make your Zone cards Overpowered in any way, shape, or form. So when making these Zone Spells, do not make the effect something such as it boosts your deck and turns all other monsters attack points to zero. These cards are to be tailored to benefit you, but not to make your opponent unable to play in the duel. Now comes the question, how will these Zone Duels play out? Well this is what will happen:

•Both duelists will participate in a single duel
•After the classic rock-paper-scissors match and the duel starts, both players play their Zone cards from their decks
•The Zones take effect and only become active after the 1st turn of the user
•Then the duel goes on as normal

Now what are the classes? Classes represent your character and their respective roles in the story. The choice of Class determines how your character will play out with in this RP. Here is the list of classes:

Classes:

Pedestrian: Does not Duel, rather they observe the duels (reserved for side-characters and those who do not want to duel)

Regular Duelist: Does not participate in Zone Duels, but can still duel within Zones

Zone Duelist: Uses Zone Spell Cards to enhance their performances in duels

Terror Zoner: Evil Zone Duelists who use Zone Spells to enhance their own advantages

Anti-Terror Zoner Task Force member (ATZTF): Zone Duelists who fight against the Terror Zoners

So then, the maximum number of main characters is set at 8, however you are allowed to make side characters to fulfill certain parts of your characters' story if you wish. Side characters however will be limited to 3 per character.

Rules will be as follows:
1. Have fun

2. No editing your character's deck right before a duel to give yourself an unfair advantage

3. No god mode as it just makes it not fun for the rest of the players

4. Do not take control of other players characters unless you get their permission

5. No meta decks. it might just kill the fun of the RP if everyone uses a meta deck

Description: Black hair, wide shoulders, wears a pair of nice-fitting blue jeans and a black t-shirt. Normally not violent, however, can be when he thinks someone desperately needs a beating.

Bio: Nakashima was borned into a family who had an alcoholic father and a crack addicted mother. He would face daily abuse and had to learn how to survive on his own, and he did. However, the training was only physical. He still had all of his emotional scars from all the beatings and terrble things they've told him throughout the years. Eventually, at age 15, he decided to leave his violent home behind him and start studying in an academy for a while. It was there that a certain deck caught his attention; X-Saber. He was extremely facinated byt eh decks lore and playstyle, and eventually became a celebrity, do to his precise skill and accuracy with the deck.

Zone card’s effect: all “D/D/D” monsters you control gain 500 attack. you can add 1 “D/D/D” monster or 1 “covenant” card from your graveyard or deck to your hand than take 1000 damage. you can special summon 1 “D/D/D” monster from your extra deck and if it was not a “pendulum” monster banish 1 “D/D/D” monster from your grave yard or face up in your extra deck than negate the effect of the monster summoned by this effect until the end phase than take 1000 damage. If you would pendulum summon a “D/D/D” monster(s) this turn you can inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each “D/D/D” you pendulum summoned, you can not conduct your battle phase the turn you use this effect, if the monster(s) are still on the field during the end phase of the turn you used this effect take 500 damage for each one that is still on the field. You can only use one effect of “demonic rift” one per turn and only once that turn.

Bio: He was practically born in to the Terror Zoners since his father was one and he was been training ever since he was little to be one unknowingly. He carries around a sword for self-defense and has been carrying around a training sword even before he had got his sword he owns now. His father was arrested and sentenced for life for almost killing someone in a zone duel. When Jason was 9, he ran away after his father was imprisoned, but then the Terror Zoners found him and took him in once he told them who his father was and has been a member of them ever since.

Bio: the younger brother of Jason Tsuyoshi ever since his father was sent to prison he has been sticking with his older brother no matter if that meant becoming a Terror Zoner or not. Around the time Jason ran away, Tyler followed him and then a few days later after the Terror Zoners found Jason, they had found Tyler as well. After they took Tyler to their hideout, he saw Jason and was initiated as a Terror Zoner ever since. He is really good in self defense and hand to hand combat it necessary and is the more athletic of the the 2 brothers.

Class: Agent of the ATZTF

Zone: Domain of the Stars (Represented by Realm of Light)

Effect: Once per turn, you can add 1 Constellar Monster from your deck to your hand. Once per turn if a card is returned to the hand from the field or graveyard, target 1 card on the field and destroy it.

Bio: Born to parents who were both in the police force, Michael wanted to join them as a cop. Then, the Terror Zoners and their tremendous power from the zone spell cards arose. His parents were then transferred to the ATZTF, which inspired Michael to face the Terror Zoners as well. Then one day, his parents went to stop a meeting of Terror Zoners, and disappeared. This left a 9 year old Michael homeless and parentless. Then one day, the captain of the ATZTF squad his parents were a part of, Kanagi Igatoshi, came to him and offered him training to defeat the Terror Zoners and find answers to his parents’ disappearance. So for a decade, Michael trained to face the Terror Zoners. By the time he was 13, he was vastly superior to all other ATZTF members, other than the captains. When he turned 19, he was given a disguise kit by the ATZTF, which allows him to become the Terror Zoner known as Kirajima Yutako. He uses Constellars as they refer to his memories of watching the stars with his parents when he was a boy.

Bio: The backstory of Kiarjima is a mystery to all, even his “allies” in his Terror Zoner group. He is secretly Michael di Angelo, searching for clues to where his missing parents may be located.

Bio: She was a shy girl and daughter of a baker. She used to be picked on by others for her glasses and her strange bright blue eyes. Then one day she was rescued by a little boy named Michael di Angelo from her tormentors. The two have been close friends ever since. Then when Micheal turned 9, she learned his parents disappeared in the line of duty and he moved away to be trained to face the Terror Zoners. Ever since he moved, Makoto has thought about her friend and the lesson he taught her about standing up to the harassment. Little did she know that she would reunite with him 10 years later.

Desc: Blue hair, Fancy clothing (typically a pinstripe green shirt with a red undershirt, and Khaki pants)

Deck: Noble Knights

Bio: Ever since he was young, Nozaki has shown interest in the Arthurian Legends of old. With Merlin, Lancelot, and the other Knights as company, he learned of Chivalry, the art of being cruel to enemies, but kind to friends. One day, he met Makoto Yuki and Michael do Angelo and the trio have been friends for as long as they could remember. However when Michael had to move when Nozaki was 11, Nozaki also had to move in with his father, a famous movie star. Being away from his friends bummed Nozaki to no end and he found refuge in the confines of the Arthurian Legends he read when he was younger. Then one day when Nozaki was away with his mother, his father was murdered in a weird duel labeled a Zone duel. The only clue Nozaki got to the identity of the Terror Zoner who murdered his father was that he had metal claw-like grips on his arms. Nozaki then trained himself in the ways of the Zone duel to face the murderer of his father. Nozaki trusts his life in the forces of the Chivalry of Knights of the Round Table using his Noble Knight deck.

Bio:
This 20 year old is a immigrant to New Zone city, coming there in the ripe age of 14.
All alone in the world, because his whole family died to a genetic disease.
He has been diagnosed with the same disease and it will likely kill him in a few weeks to a few years, no one can tell.
The disease might be curable with a certain monsters effect, but Keiichi doesn't know which one, so he is searching for it like mad and he will let nothing get in the way of his search. He is going to manipulate, cheat, corrupt or kill for the cure.
The Alien cards are the only thing he has left from his parents, his 10th birthday gift.

Description: Shoulder length black hair. Black cloak with black pants and t-shirt. Pale skin, red eyes. About 5'9", and 100 lb. has a necklace with a small red gem as the pendant.
Bio: Henrietta is an enigma; he is often seen dueling those who request it, and is often considered one of the best duelists in the city. He refuses to compete in any tournaments, however. Some have reported detailed descriptions of strange lights or figures appearing around him, but none can confirm this. What he truly wants is unknown, but he once joked to a man who asked him about his deck, "I use Spellbooks because, like them, I keep searching."

Description: Quiet, Peaceful, Humble; Usually wears a long white dress that hangs down to her calves; Long brown hair; Golden eyes; 5'5" tall; Thin with semi-pale skin.

Bio: As a little girl, Dawn always loved the aroma of flowers and various plants. Growing up, her parents were both very wealthy and were successful botanists. As such, Dawn followed their passions and loves nothing more than quiet days in her garden. While she spent most of her time in the garden, Dawn was also prepped as a professional Zone Duelist, going to various private schools and being taught by her parents, also successful Zone Duelists, to protect herself in case of any harm. Nowadays, she can be seen always by the flower shop, and if she is not there, then she is usually seen by the park tending to the flowers. Quiet and polite, Dawn usually makes friends very quickly and will do anything to help them out.

Bio:Mordicais twin brother who was seperated at birth and adopted into a military family and joined the ATZTF to make his parents proud he has one card that he's always had and doesn't know why it is number 15 giant grinder.

Bio: Nero has had what some would consider a bad lot in life, his parents acted like he didn't really exist due to their work keeping them busy, but he was grateful for what he had. Nero will stand up for what he thinks is right even if everyone else thinks its wrong and will defend his allies with all his strength. His closest friends are his Crystal Beasts.

I have a few questions and opinions.
First of all, where do you place the zone card? The field zone?
Second of all can you destroy your opponents field zone card with like mst or something else?

Now for my opinions:
I feel that some zone cards are a bit OP, Holy Keeper of the X-Sabers I'm looking at you.

Zone Card's Effect: Once per turn: you can discard one water monster; add one water monster with a different monster type from your deck to your hand. This effect is treated as a water monster's effect.
Description: Quiet and normally focused, black hair, blue eyes, white, constantly looks around.
Bio: Kevin was born into a poor family. All they had were the cheap clothes on their back, cheap food, and an inherited house along the ocean. It wasn't as luxorious as it sounds; it was one 4 room house and the ocean was extremely rocky and shallow until you got several hundred feet out. Kevin absolutely hated water until his mother gave him a present on his 6th birthday: a mermail deck inherited from his father. Suddenly he no longer hated water, just swimming. His mother would constantly tell him he needed to try swimming and to "live in the now" by having some fun. Kevin for the next dozen years Kevin attended academies and ended up skipping a couple grades. He was off to a party with some classmates at age 18 when he found out his mother died. Instead of turning the car around like he should have he continued going to the party, got hammered, and knocked up with a mutual friend named Samantha. A family member for a family member. He couldn't tell if the child would be a blessing or a curse. The moment the child (a girl now named Rose) was born he instantly knew it was a blessing. Around this time he started to worry about the Terror Zoners causing harm to his daughter and he became active in protesting for more government funds against the Terror Zoners and became a prominent figure for the cause. One day when he was off to another protest he left his daughter at a daycare. When he returned to the daycare burned to the ground with everyone safe except for one person: Rose. His life was no longer about living in the now, it was about the past. It was about revenge. Rose's funeral was a week later, and Kevin signed up to train for the AZTAF the day after. Now he is on a mission; a mission to find the one who gave the order and the ones who carried it out.
