Chapter 2 [Build Up]

Its been a week since the incident in Terrenus. Akuma has been placed in jail and the city has been rebuilt. Things for Team Eclipse has been calm lately, no missions have been assigned to them by the Main headquarters, so everyones just been going about their life, doing whatever they felt like. The Roleplay will start out with FREE MODE, you guys are able to do whatever you like until PLOT MODE starts.

Goals:

- Make a post about what you did in the past week, try to make it big

- Character Develop

- Try to impact the Rp some how, by participating in the plot, or you can impact things in Free Mode some how, if you feel like it needs to be discussed with me before you do it, you can just ask me.

Eric had been teaching his team some things about the daedalus, such as how to fly it and so on, when he wasn't doing that he was in his office doing work, meanwhile Jaden had been training, using what fire told him to motivate him. Jaden had also been spending more time with Echo, they were usually found in the center of town relaxing and talking. Jaden felt weird though, like he felt something or someone was on the way, he just couldn't pinpoint what it was he was feeling.

The past week, Tara had been busy.

She had read up extensively and was now practicing some new enchantments. She wanted to make sure that she was on top of things, and that people saw her as a good leader. She had always carried herself through battle, she wanted to feel what it was like to carry others.
Tara had been training extensively on the mountaintop as well. She was anxiously awaiting the next mission, hoping to be able to put those skills to the test. Tara sat in her house, gazing at the cube Gajeel had given her. She didn't know when she would find a use for it, but just in case, she slipped it into her pocket dimension. Tara walked outside clad in full armor, enjoying the fresh air and the view. She walked over to the arena and waited to see if people would eventually show up there.

Marideth stepped out of the flames, her dress scorched black and coated with ash. Her hair hung low below her face, making the blood dripping from her right eye invisible to the naked eye. She said nothing, thought nothing. She only continued to walk. Blood dripped from her leg and left a trail on the ground, but she paid no mind to any of it. Within a few seconds, the blood stopped flowing. She walked, and walked, and walked, until she reached her destination. Slowly, she stepped inside of her room and swung her hair back to look at herself in the mirror. Then, she smiled at her reflection. There was now a single scar along the upper and lower half of her eye, but she was just glad she made it out alive. After cleaning up a little, she went out into the main performance area, calling over the man who brought in customers. She told him of her team's unfortunate demise just a few minutes earlier, and regarded it as an "unfortunate loss." But, she the show must go on, she explained to him, as they set up their props and their items and began to approach their next destination: A city by the name of #69.

Firebreath for a week hasn't really done anything important, he worked in his lab a bit more, working on this project he started the day he picked his house out. The rest has only been training, keeping his reflexes alive and ready for the next mission. All in all its been a really plain week for him.

"1....2....3...4" The numbers kept on increasing. Jade was currently in the gym, doing her daily routine. Gotta stay in shape somehow. This last week has been much better than any other week she had in her lifetime. She met some good friends such as Kiru and Alanna, been able to drink to her hearts content, and the cigarettes here are 3 times cheaper than in any other town. In this one week, Jade feels she has changed for the better, physically and emotionally.

"Finally done with this shit." Jade sighs as she wipes the sweat off her head with a towel. After she took a shower, she planned to go speak with some of her teammates, but first she had to finish the "secret project" she had been working on. This past week, Jade has been putting together a high tech suit of armor capable of withstanding multiple attack. "This is going to be so sweet ~" She tells herself as she comes out the shower, gets dressed, and goes to find her teammates.

Jaden laid in the town center, humming to himself, Echo was busy atm so he was by himself for the time being "I wish mom was here..." he said to himself

Kiru had been having a great time this past week, absolutely no responsibilities, able to drink and gamble to her hearts content. However, that morning she gave her swords a rueful look as she put on her sword belt. She knew she had been neglecting to train and she now had a reputation to maintain. Not wanting that to get sullied, Kiru headed off to the arena in hopes to find a sparring partner, or better yet, partners.

Thousands of miles away, in a darkened throne room of some bleak fortress sat a figure, near completely hidden by shadow. In a voice cold as death the figure spoke, "The time of Reckoning is nigh, soon the Legions of Twilight will march to war. But first, the Queen has unfinished business." The figures eyes blazed with purple energy, then the figure... vanished.

Purple text indicates my other character, Luna, who's face claim can be viewed at any time in my sig, similarly how kiru's image is my avatar.

Seeing that Nothing was going on, Tara moved along, walking over to the town center, where she saw Jaden.

"Hey, how are you?"

She was starting to become more accustomed to modern day speech.

Jaden looked up and smiled "Hey tara, pretty good, you?" Jaden asked with a tilt of his head

"I'm doing good as well."

Jaden smiled and sat up "Well dad should be getting out of the office soon"

"Shall we go greet him?"

Jaden shook his head "No worries, he can get here by himself Tara" Jaden laughed lightly

The curator stood, a megaphone in his hands, atop a pile of boxes within the city square.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and ghouls! Step right up, step right up!" The curator smiled as people turned with interest at him. The curator motioned to a giant curtain set up behind him.

"Behind this curtain lies a GHASTLY concoction of delight, horror, fantasy and terror! Your every wish is our command, but I do warn you...there's ALWAYS a price..." The curator then turned and motioned for the curtain to drop. As it did, the appearance of a giant carnival tent appeared in the distance. A sign stood next to it, reading "The Darkarnival."

"Welcome to the greatest show on Earth!" The curator bowed, his tophat in his hand, as people ran through to get to the carnival. The amount of noise going on was loud enough to alert more than half the city, causing more and more civilians to come to the center of the city.

Shinyo and Viola were walking outside taking in the atmosphere outside. Lately nothing major has gone on and the break was well deserved, especially for Shinyo, who managed to pull a full recovery of his skills after that incident with Jagger. Shinyo was reading his book and Viola took out her flute and was deciding a place to sit down and play a new song she heard with Shinyo. They were passing by thecenter of town when they saw Tara and Jaden and Viola said, "Hey Jaden and Tara. How are you?"

Shinyo glanced up and said, "Yes, How are you two?"

Tara noticed Shinyo and Viola. "Hello. I'm doing good. How are you?"

Jaden looked at Shinyo and Viola "Yo! I'm fine, how you both doing?" Jaden said with a smile, standing up before looking over an tilting his head "the darknival?"

Echo had been out sightseeing all day. She had finally become accustomed to the town, and knew her way around. As she was walking, she came upon Jaden. Although she had a few more sights to see, hanging out for a little couldn't hurt.

"Hey, Jaden and co! What's up?" Although she had certainly dropped the shy exterior around the others by now, she didn't consider any of them close yet.

"Except Jaden?" Ancilla mocked Echo from inside her head, and Echo just mentally pouted before walking up to the group.

Jaden's eyes brightened when he saw Echo "Sup Echo!" Jaden said happily, jumping to his feet and looking between his group of friends "Just missing some of the others then we would have the whole team here" Jaden said out loud

"Indeed. So what's the little presentation over there? It seems rather sinister, if you ask me." Although most would see it as a rather fun, yet creepy little show, Echo noticed a particularly sinister aura from the stage.

Jaden laughed and wrapped an arm around her shoulder "Well let's go check it out! Can't be that bad right?" Jaden says innocently, not sensing anything weird about it currently

Tara felt that Jaden and Echo had become rather close since the beginning. She sensed something rather dangerous about the place. She kept her hand on her lance and walked in cautiously.

A blush crept over Echo's face as Jaden held her. She gulped audibly, and nodded shakily.

"Y-Yeah. Let's go." As the neared the carnival, Echo's head was filled by the gushing and chuckles of Ancilla.

Jaden looked around "This is so cool! I have never been to a carnivalbefore, dad had kept me here most of my life, honestly not sure why either..."
