Chapter 2 [Build Up]

Marideth looked over at Jade and whispered to her.

"They really are dense..."

While falling back Klaus tries to analyze the situation. Shina is too close to him thus making the spear not as effective. He can't rely on the shards nor can he hope to dodge. Thinking again he focuses the water in the air to turn into ice as he creates an armor around his body while trying to move the spear towards Shina.(-2/38)

shina had the same emotionless expreshion on the entire spare. when the spire came twords shina she had side steped having it to to her side instead. shina than swung her bambo sword at the spear breaking it in half and swinging her leg up to kick Klaus in the head

"Yeah they really are. I should probably stop the fight." Jade whispers back.

"Come onnn, just let it go a few more minutes." Faith tells her

"Fine. If you shut up the rest of the day" Jade sighs internally

Seeing the Shinas foot coming towards him Klaus grabs hold of it as he falls to the ground and wraps his feet around her leg. Putting his arm over her knee and the other on her foot, Klaus attempts to snap her leg.

"I usually do enjoy fights. But this one is dull and lifeless. It's all just them trying to hit each other. No flare. No pizzazz. It's boring...Maybe we should stop it."

shina had looked down at Klaus strugling to do anything to her. shina had than lifed hum her leg bending her knee lifting Klaus up wiht the leg and bringing it down quickly and forcefully curb stomping Klaus.

Shinyo sighs and said, "Ok this is getting ridiculous. I'm ending this battle now before Shina or Klaus get hurt." Shinyo whispered to Jade, "If you are afraid of fire, look away cause I am summoning a fire spirit to end this."

Shinyo walked forward and opened his book and chanted: "Burning hatred that forms from Hellfire and Brimstone, create the ruler of these flames. I call upon the red giant, the ruler of hellfire. I summon thee. Come Forth, Efreet!"


Efreet put his fist between Klaus and Shina and Shinyo said, "Stop you fools. We are on the same team. You should not fight over a petty arguement or taunting. Klaus, you should learn to shut your mouth sometimes instead of taunting. And Shina, you should learn not to fall for the obvious taunt."

Shinyo and Viola walked out and Shinyo said, "If you need us, we will be at the arena." and walked out to the arena

Getting curbed stomped into the ground, Klaus gets up to see that the lens in his mask have been broken. Feeling his eye bleeding like something got cut, Klaus starts to laugh as he stumbles a bit. ''I haven't felt or seen my own blood since the last time that old fuck slammed head against the book case,''said Klaus as he removes his mask,'' or was it the wall...maybe it was the tree outside the yard he did it in so many places.''
Smirking a wicked smile Klaus what looks like ice claws around him fingers. ''I don't like fucks making me bleed I feel tempted to make their lives as worthless as this entire worlds,''said Klaus as he walks towards Shina.

"Wait! Before everyone leaves, I have something I wanted to ask of you all while you're here..." Marideth waved down everyone until they looked at her.

"I want...to join your team."

Jade draws her handgun and aims it at Klaus. "Stop. We are on the same team. This is ridicules. The fight is over."

Shinyo heard this and he said, "You see, I am not really inclined to trust you since all that shit yesterday. I judge people by actions rather than words. But if you want Merideth, I could probably tell Eric you are wishing to join the team. He holds final word after all."

"If I have to prove myself somehow, I will. Just say the word..." Marideth crossed her arms, another flicker of light zooming past everyone, but nothing else happened.

"I promise you I can be a great asset."

shina had looked over to Klaus and said "i have proven my point..." and deactivated het shadow armor and shadow blade reverting back to her sports bra and sweats.

Firebreath got up after looking at the fight "If any of you really want to fight though, im kinda in the mood to try some of my new moves i've thought up" Firebreath said. He cracked his fingers, he wasn't grinning like he usually did, this time his face showed a little lust, in his eyes. His hang over was over.

Looking at Jade, Klaus simple smirks before he snaps finger back into place. ''By the way thank you for letting me observe this,''said Klaus as he pulls a piece of glass out of his eye and puts his mask back on.''The only point you've proven is how easily manipulated you can be,''said Klaus as he sits down.

shina looked back at Klaus and said "its not me being manipulated..." shina than had walked in her house and got on her town cloths

"Sheesh for a team you guys really don't work together well...I'm sure Punch would have something to say to that." With a cocky smile, Marideth turned on her heel and started off toward the arena.

Tara walked up. "Well, that was...interesting. You really don't give up with the smart remarks, do you Klaus? Well, that's one way to show determination..."

Looking at Tara Klaus chuckles as he finished writing in his book. ''I got what I wanted.''

"That you did." Tara agreed with a hint of sarcasm. "Anyways, we should probably be preparing for our next mission instead of fooling around. I'll be training on the mountain if you need me." She walked off.

shina had walked out of her house and looked over to a unknown girl walking away and looked at the rest of them and said "who is the freak?

When she got to the arena, Marideth sighed as she observed the competition.

"None of them have personality. None of them have class...This'll be boring."

Marideth sat atop a pile of bodies, all of them of varying sizes and ages.

"You guys are pathetic...I barely had to move, let alone use some abilities. Get good..." Jumping from the bodies, Marideth bumped into a familiar face.

Jaden had been enjoying his date with Echo, they laughed and hung out for hours, after saying bye for the night they both went home and slept, the next morning Jaden arrived at the arena to train and saw Marideth
