Spirit Force RP: Chapter 3 [Mind Set]

Shinyo and Viola got on the ship and Viola went to Jaden's side and she said, "Jaden... I'm... I'm so sorry for your loss." Shinyo also went to Jaden and sighed. He then said, "Normally there can be some big speech Gajeel would make about what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that stuff, but honestly, I can feel for you Jaden."

Shinyo then sighed and said, "Look, I understand your pain man. I liked Eric too much and I can feel for a man who just lost his father. My condolances to you." Shinyo then took out a flask he bought which he filled with whiskey and took a swing from.

Echo disagreed with some of their wordings, but overall the message was the same.

"They're right... we won't let his death be in vain. We shall move on, not to forget him, but to carry his weight on our shoulders." Jaden looked up. Although the tears flowed, he nodded shakily, turning back to the controls as the Daedulus returned to the city. He muttered quietly through his teeth.

"Now he will feel pain..."

Gajeel looked back to Shinyo, then to Jaden. "Look, I never had parents, and the adoptive father I had I absolutely hated. My condolences, sincerely I feel for you, but since I never really had a family I cannot experience your pain. You may have lost your father but be happy no one else died, and let this serve as a lesson to not let your emotions get to you, because that is what killed your father."

Kiru shook her head slightly, "it's nothing, just thinking about how many times I've seen similar things happen. When we get back we really must begin training."

shina took one final look at the man before she whent back to the ship and took a seat inside

"I honestly have to fuckin agree with Kiru, honestly instead of heading the fuck back to area #69 we should just fuckin head to wherever this fuckin hanging tree is." Alanna suggests as Alanna and Alanna Alanna got back inside the ship.

"We all need training honestly." He sighed. " Look, we all hate what happened, except for Klaus he doesn't give a shit, but we can just get over it and actually focus on what we're suppose to do."

Kiru turned to Alanna, "I want you, Jade and the Little one to come with me when we land. You are already great at a range but if something got close you're helpless. And lets face it, if somethings already managed to get that close, I doubt even Lilac could help you. You all need training in close combat, might buy you a few seconds."

"Alright Kiru, if you fuckin say so, however Lilac is way more fuckin knowledgeable in close combat than I am, and I believe Jade also knows some due to her fuckin experiance." Alanna says agreeing but adding to Kiru's suggestion.

"Oy, I know more close combat then you, ya dumb sailor." Lilac teases.

Jaden leaned back into the sight and sighed shakily. The tears had run dry, yet the sadness was still there. He looked at the controls, and after punching a few buttons the ship practically did a 360 before he spoke.

"Y-You're all right... we need to train. We need to become stronger... I need to..." He trailed off, but everyone understood the message.

Vengeance was to come.

"Well Alanna, let's see if you can hold a sword shall we?"

"if were going to train we might as well hurry up..." said shina leaning back in her seat looking slightly up at the roof

''Training would be good,''said Klaus as he stands behind the group,''It could prepare us for on coming enemies.''

Alanna then changes her Quicksilver form into Quicksilver Shazam!

"Does this count?" Alanna asks as she waves around the lightsaber. "And I thought you were referring to fists, not weapons." She sighs. "Yeah I guess I may be decently weak in the area." She gives into the weakness which is followed by: "Lilac you should really have a fucking pistol on you." in her head.

"Alright fine, I guess I can't rely on my powers all the time." Lilac gives into Alanna's reasonable demand.

Shinyo nodded his head in agreement and said, "Alright, so how about we plan out weaknesses out and way to counter them. I agree with Kiru that the long range trio need some CQC training just in case an enemy gets that close. But what I also think is that maybe Viola can teach Echo some Song Artes to assist her mid-range combat so she does not have to rely on things such as the Watcher. Plus all of Viola's artes take little to no power to use, so you are free to do with that as you please."

Shinyo turned to Gajeel and said, "Since we are probably the powerhouses of this group with our forms, maybe we can work out certain combos involving my summons and your alchemy. Also if you will Gajeel, I wish to learn some of your skills with combat and long range weaponry in case I cannot get close enough for my summons to work. In exchange, I can teach you some summons I learned in my travels."

"That sounds good Shinyo. I have a massive pool of abilities to choose from, so just choose one and I will help you develop your own little version." He began to think. "Hmmm, Alchemy requires years of extensive knowledge and skill so that is a no-go. Electricity is completely natural, like a superpower, so that's out. Perhaps I can show you something else."

(POSTING AS TARA SCRUBS.)

Tara wiped here eyes a bit after witnessing Eric's deaths. She barely knew the man, kinda didn't like him, but st the same time he felt sympathy towards Jaden. He walked over to him, lifting her visor and holding both her hands behind her. "I'm sorry for what happened to your father. I'm sure he'll be missed." He turned to Kiru and gulped. "Alright, what do you need me to do once we land?"

Shinyo nodded and said, "Well we can at least work out combos. I bet you will love when I summon Volt as he can help feed your powers. Anyway, here is a set of cards for summons. Just read the text on the card, and the monster on the picture will appear and will test your trust to them. If you earn their trust, you can use them anytime you wish."

Shinyo handed Gajeel the set of cards and then handed one more card to him and said, "This is Bahamut, a mighty dragon and is the most wild of spirits to tame. But hopefully you can gain his trust to summon."

"Hmmm, you should see my Thunderclap Skywolf spirit. And thank you. If you want I can teach you some Assassination techniques by abusing your emotions. I can't teach you my assassination switch on, but a bunch of other things I can show." He took the cards and memorized the texts.

Shinyo thanked Gajeel and he took out his flask for a sip of whiskey. Even though he was 19 himself, he had found a strange liking of mead and whiskey. He then took out a bottle of whiskey from Kiru's Bar and said to Gajeel, "You up for a drink?"

"Sure. I'm basically immune to this so why not." He took the whiskey and drank a good gulp, a shiver running up his spine. "I needed that." He handed him back the flask and sighed. "Now we gotta get to him..."

Slash stood up and stretched his back with a groan. A soft hissing sound escaping his muzzle. "I need a drink once we all get back."

Alanna and Company follow the others as they go to meet punch.

Shinyo handed Slash the bottle of Whiskey and said, "Knock yourself out man." and he went with the others to see President Punch.

Echo helped Jaden up, holding onto his hand tightly as they walked out the ship. Jaden, for the most part, kept his head down. Echo got a bit closer, and Jaden grasped her hand tighter in response.
