Chapter 6: [Spirits]

As Willow saw the ice pack spear, her wires instantly shredded it, as she was standing right next to Tara.

"No one cares, egghead. These people are morons anyway." She crossed her arms before kicking at Kado, who was rummaging through Klaus's pockets, looking for money while whispering "Mine...mine...mine...mine..."

Shinyo heard Klaus say something bout an ice dome and he cursed. He then called upon Efreet to help melt the ice. (-5/30)

Viola though took Bureido and used the open gap on its top to hold Klaus in place. She then saw what he did and snapped. All this death for him to make a stupid point took their tool. Viola inched the ax close and said, "Humanity is worth saving. The people you gave those powers to were psychopaths and you used them as your example for humanity?" Viola then inched the ax closer to Klaus's neck and said, "You are wrong Klaus. I see 2 possibilities. Either you give up quietly, or I hand you over to Willow to peel your dick like a banana. What will it be?"

As Echo started to black out, she would hear a voice ringing in her ear. A familiar one.

"Stop apologizing...I said I'd protect you, didn't I?" Asuya picked her up and looked at her with a smile on her face. Then, she flew up and off to one of the buildings that was away from all the carnage and placed her down on Asuya's jacket so she was comfortable.

''I can't really move at all,''said Klaus as he raises his hands up,''Looks like you got me.''

Adrein quickly pushed his wings downward moving him out of the way of the explosions "we'll than..." He said floating in mid air out of the way of all the explosions.

Echo smiled up, chuckling a bit. Suddenly her body was racked with more pain, and blood sprayed out of her mouth as she hacked and wheezed. She calmed after a moment, using her good arm to weakly wipe away the blood from her lower lip.

"Y-You're okay... so I'll b-be, too." She took Asuya's hand in her own, trying her best to squeeze it. It only came out as a pathetic touch, however. Echo's body was even weaker than it usually was.

Shinyo sees Viola about to just cut off Klaus's head and grabbed her saying, "He's not worth it Viola. Please... stop..." Shinyo channeled his positive feelings back into Viola, who then snapped out of her trance and she said, "I'm... alright... thanks." Shinyo then removed the Bureido and then slapped a pair of spirit-cancelling cuffs on Klaus. "You are going to the slammer Klaus." and then looked to Tara and said, "I want to kill him as much as you do Tara, but if we do so, we are no better than him and we'd be humoring him and his sick ideals."

Asuya smiled and clutched Echo's hand tightly in hers. But even though she smiled, tears fell onto Echo's face. Soon, her smile faded away.

"Don't die on me...Don't you fucking dare...I won't let you!" Asuya brought her hand upon the blood Echo spit up, and focused. It had been a while since she properly used her Hemomancy, but she tried her best. As an exchange, Asuya bit down on her thumb until it bled and let the drops fall into Echo's mouth. Then, the exchange began. As seconds passed, Asuya's blood copied that of Echo's and began to transfuse into her. While this procedure was experimental, if all went well, Echo would have all the blood she needed back in her without any of her cells attacking her body. In return, Asuya would be down half her blood. By the time the procedure ended, Asuya collapsed and tried to catch her breath, almost passing out from the sudden loss of blood.

Echo turned to Asuya, raising a mildly amused eyebrow. Blood still dripped from her mouth, and she was certainly still in bad shape. But her face had regained most of its color, and she could at the very least bring in Asuya for a hug.

"We seem to be going back and forth on who's dying. I'd be laughing if it wasn't, well, us dying." Echo sighed, lying down next to Asuya.

"Let's rest. I have a feeling this will be coming to a close soon, and besides. I'm out." Echo looked to her broken arm as it draped over Asuya, grimacing as the pain began to slowly set in.

Shinyo looked at Max and said, "Soooo... you know her?"

Seeing Echo alive, Asuya, speechless, embraced her in a tight hug, but was still careful about her arm. Tears ran down her face, but soon she passed out next to her, her arms still coiled around her waist.

"So we're just going to let the ignorant pig live huh...Shame..I could've used a new puppet." Willow said as she bit down on her wires. Kado was pouting as she found nothing in his pockets.

"I say we kill the fucker...Hell I'm not afraid to do it myself." She drew out one of her cards.

Echo sighed in relief as Asuya drifted off. She may not have been in the best condition, but she was definitely stable. Echo began to feel the tug of sleep pull at her too, and she gripped Asuya closer. The day had finally taken its toll. A smile overtook her face as she closed her eyes.

She looked like an angel.

Cobra seemd to appear out of thin air next to asuya and echo. He had his golden earphones around his neck. Good thing he saved them from his burning building.

"My, my What a mess you guys have gotten yourselves into. Cobra walks over to both echo and asuya. If its always like this with you guys, must be one hell of a life. Cobra rustles his hair and starts to laugh.

"But onto more pressing matters." Cobra looks at the severely hurt echo and asuya. "Normally its not in my nature to help. Cobra extended his arm and form them came to pure white snakes, but in these circumstances, i guess in a tactical point of view...your team cant have you in this state. The two snake slitherd towards asuya and echo. They bit them both. Each snake had a healing as that would heal both their injuries in a matter of seconds, but not to strong to wake them up. Went to the ledge of the building and sat down. He over looked the burning city.

(Intelligence) "Hundreds must be dead."

Cobra adjusted his neck collar, and and smiled towards the city.

"You people sure do know how to throw a party."

Adrein landed were the other we're still in his holy awakening form and said "took all of you long inof" while looking at klause

"You all want to either kill him or lock him up, so why not both? Try sealing the soul into some part of the void, and destroy the body. Problem solved." He shrugged.

Rex looked down at the people who were dying. "Heh, I bet this isn't even close to what the worst you guy's been through huh?"
