Chapter 8: [The Monster]

Jaden looked up and froze his heart skipped a few beats "Echo are you okay!?"

shina while geting huged by cory and jaden at the same time she said "umm, why are you guys huging me, and did you just call me a idiot? your one to talk" she than broke the hugs and said "miss me?" with a smile. she looked difrent her hair was longer aswell as her outfit was difrent from before.

Shinyo sighed and said, "Look, either we turn ourselves in and have a minor risk of being killed, or keep running and try to fight the system, while at the same time having the Spirit Hunters chase us everywhere and eventually use our relatives as Bargaining Chips and then die for their cause. I'd rather take the more peaceful route than eventually draw more civilians into the crossfire."

Jaden chuckled softly and gave shina a small smile before looking towards Echo and Asuya

Echo took a glance at the team, nodding slightly at Jaden's question. She plopped down with them, sighing loudly as they eyes almost cocooned over her.

"I am fine. Now, someone care to explain the situation?" She looked around again, and the eyes seemed to be slowly spreading around her, almost like a puddle.

Cory kissed Shina on the cheek "Its cool Shina! you look awesome with that longer black hair of yours. Also where did you go? I woke up and you were gone?"

Asuya remained quiet, opting to let Echo do the talking for her. Before long, Willow showed up in the distance, being visible if they looked over Asuya's shoulder. She leaned against the tree in a manner that she usually did, but this time, unbeknownst to anyone else, she was using the tree to hold herself up and prevent herself from collapsing. Kado was no where to be found.

Jaden looked at Echo, a hint of worry in his voice "W-Why did you leave like that! I have been worried sick about you!"

shina blushed slightly at what cory did. she slaped cory and said "w-why did you just do that!" slightly angry

"To stop the fighting. The sisters would have killed all of you, and they were in no shape to fight either." Echo spoke calmly, her head resting on one leg while her arms held her up form the sides. The eyes seem to squirm madly around her, as if they were searching for something. Famished.

Kiru noticed the flicker of movement that was Willows arrival and looked over in her direction, "Hey, there's that one person from before! Hey person!"

Jaden looked at Shina and laughed lightly "I like the long hair, its cute" Jaden said with a smile before speaking to Echo again "Pretty much we are debating to turn ourselves in or not"
Jaden blinked and tilted his head "Hey...where is the necklace I gave you?"

The snake came up to a tree, and kept its eye on the source of the energy. It was willow. The snake slithered on a branch, making itself visible to her.


(Intelligence) "From what i have been observing, its not like you to be in the background, wouldn't you normally be threatening  jaden?"

Cory feels his cheek "Because i missed Shina you dissapeared without a trace or note I was worried about you"

Echo's eyes around her neck receded before reaching down her shirt, plucking the necklace out and holding it up. The eye pendant glimmered in the dim lighting, almost glowing.

"Here it is. I have yet to lose it."

shina looked over at jaden and said "thanks" wiht a smiel smile before looking at ticci wiht a more serious face wispering to him "i left a note, did you not see it?"

Jaden smiles brightly at Echo and gives her a thumbs up before tossing shina her badge "Dont forget to put that thing on" jaden froze and felt the darkness trying to take over again, he clecnhed his fist and slowly he relaxed. giving a small grin to Sasha, he rubbed the top of her head with a chuckle "Sorry Sasha, alot going on"

"Now that that is settled, we need to make a final choice right here and now before some spirit hunters come in and take us all." Shinyo said, while looking concern for everyone. In this moment of team weakness, they need a way to stop Kale and restore their image to the public.

As soon as Intelligence opted to speak to Willow, something in her mind snapped. In the blink of an eye, a series of wires slid through the snake's body, slicing it apart within an instant. The poison that would erupt had no effect on her body, and since they were at least 3 meters from the group, they were fine as well. Willow remained silent, but coughed up blood again, this time almost throwing it up.

As Jaden got close to Echo, he would be met with a black scythe between the two of them, and her eyes shifted to his to warn him. However, she remained silent, as this was Echo's wish.

shian caught the badge saying under her breath with a slightly sad look on her face"i am not sure i have earned this back yet..."

Jaden looked at the scythe then back to Echo "Well its time your coming back right? we need ya Echo, I need you"
Jaden looked at Shina and tilted his head "Did ya say something?"

Juuna watched the show infront of him. I do try to figure things ou t but my distraction problem makes i really hard. I stand up walk ast the group and leave the building through the door. I sit downhe would be able to think of what to do. He leaves the building andlean agaisnt the wall outside. It was to busy for him in there. He breaths the fresh air. Here i could think of wha to do next. I for sure didnt want to turn himself in.
