RWBY: Warriors of Vale Chapter 1: Intro

Brady looked to the croc and said, "Oi Steve Irwin. Watch what ya do to her. Can't ya tell she is nervous and you petting her like she is a pet ain't gonna help anything." Brady went to the faunus the croc petted and said in a soft tone, "Hey there. You alright?"

"Please. Just dont." Mack said, bringing up his hand. "Dont be like that... my names Mackiphix, but i just go with Mack... or Macky." Mack said.

kino sighed "dont do this to me" he dident really want to talk to MORE pepole than he had to. he tha n turned back around and leaned on the railing, his swords no on his back shethed in a X shape.

Caitie stopped to turn to the waving girl. All of a sudden, the bubbly smile was back on, and she skipped over to Julia, nodding her way in greeting.

"Hey! You're the one from earlier... who are these?" Caitie gave a glance around, yellow eyes burning into everyone she looked at. It wasn't a critical glare, but it was from far friendly. Regardless, that smile never left her face.

Torch went over to the girl that was relaxing away form all the commotion.He pulled up a chair turned it facing him and sat on it with his legs spread and elbow leaning on the back of it. "Hi, there" He said in a simple manner all most monotone, but it had life in it.

"Kid I aint do nothing to the lil thing except do what i couldnt resist doing and thats pet her she as cute as that cat faunus over dere" Atticus pointed behind him the cat faunus

"Hm...I'm gonna call you 'McAfee' because it sounds better. So, McAfee, the rules are simple. I place a single card face-down in front of you, then reveal the top card of the deck to you. If you want another card revealed, say 'hit me' and when you don't, say 'stop.' Then when we stop, you flip the face-down up and then add the numbers on the cards up. The closer you are to 21 without going over the better. Aces are worth 1 or 10, your choice. Face cards are 10. Ready?"

"Ok" Mack managed, trying to ignore the new name he just got. He was starting to sweat, this was harder than he had thought it was going to be. "Go" he said

Julia smiled happily at katie, offering the chincilla her hand "These are some of my friends, my name is Julia Kasahara, its nice to meet you, and you are?" Julia asked politely, her ears twitching as she smiled at the chincilla, happy to finally get to talk to her in person.

Kaori placed the top card of the deck face-down, then revealed the next. The revealed card was a Jack of Clubs.

"So far you have 10. Want another or want me to stop?"

"Hit me"

It was quiet. It does feel a little awkward to Yuri. SHe thinks of somethng to talk about. I now rememebr that i forgot to tell sometign interesting about myself. I didnt know if i woudl tell her about my split personalitys. I look at Eve. Should i really trust her? Still she could turn any moment of the day. Sooner or later she would find out anay and bully hr or ignore her existancelike everyoen did.

It didnt matter in the end. Yuri moves a little closer to Eve. I try to gether attention. Pssstt Eve i got to tell you sometinhg. You anted to know someting interesting abiut me right? Welli got my answer. Next up I tell her in quicjk lines aout my split personality problem. After i am done i ask her not to tell others. I closed my eyes and waited for the usual words peopel would shout at her. Things like monster, creep , insane and other insults.

"Caitie." She extended her own hand, shaking Julia's hand with a rather, well, shaky hand. Caitie was still a little nervous, and pulled her hand back as quickly as she could, putting them both in her jeans.

"So what's going on here? I'm sort of bored..." Caitie's voice had dropped to a whisper of sorts, muttering and softly speaking her way through the conversation.

Brady nodded and said, "I am Brandon Marukada, though you can call me Brady for short." Brady put his hands in his pockets and looked outside the window. This was indeed going to be an interesting adventure and hopefully, he can manage to fulfill his quest.

Kaori flipped the next card. It was an 8 of hearts.

"18..."

"So, watcha doin'?" He looked at Julia. "You seems...friendly I guess. Any idea where the grub's at? Hungry and dying over here." Kiba scratched himself between his ears.

Julia smiled at Caitie "Its nice to meet you Caitie, and we arent really doing anything, sorta just waiting for the ship to land then we can all have fun" Julia said happily, her ears twitching as she purred contently. She looked at Caitie and pressed her dress down, looking out the window before looking back at Caitie with a small smile. Julia looked at kiba and nodded "Im friendly, i just dont know where the food is"

kino sighed with a sigh of releaf, he was finaly alone... he can think now. he put his head phones that were on his neck and put them on and turned up his music. hopfully turning everyone out as he looked out on the view.

"Ill stay" Mack said

"Alright, now flip your face-down and see what you got." Kaori watched with anticipation.

"Mmmm this one wont be good. But i've been lucky before" Mack said, getting excited as well. He flipped it.

Kaori watched as he flipped a 3 of spades.

"Oh wow, you got exactly 21. Very nice! Haven't seen someone with that much luck before."

Macky chuckled. "That was fun" He said. Sitting there looking at Kaori. "So, where you from?" He asked
