Spirit Force Rp: Chapter 1 [The Beginning]

Shinyo walked up to the man in a black trenchcoat and the boy with a book and said, "Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven." and then took a seat next to them. "I am very prolific with literature, you see."

Viola then sat near a window and started playing a melody while her spirit, Meloetta sang to it. It was a calming song, something Shinyo knows is an old tone from a land far in the north.

"You just quoted The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe, one of my favorite poets." The male turned to see a rather smaller human. He was impressed that one actually came up with something interesting to open up a conversation. It peeked his interest, as he was not so fond of people, this was rather a first. During his younger years he constantly read poetry, most Poe.

Tara observed her comrades/possible enemies. Most of them looked troubled, but the old man had a glint in his eyes, as if he treat every day like the best day of his life. He seemed like a good leader. Most of the others looked bloodthirsty and malevolent. She didn't trust them, not one bit, but she was going to have to cooperate with them, at least until she either found the just side or found a way home.

"He's the man we were in search of, that's true, and yet he's not the man we were in search of. For the man we were in search of was not the man we wanted.”

Shinyo read the following passage and said to the fellows, "Can you tell where that passage is from?" and closed the book.

''It's nice to see some educated people around here,''said Klaus as his demeanor changes to a more relaxed one. ''My name is Klaus Vanderhiem,'' said Klaus as he bows in respect.
''Poe was one of my favorites too, he never sugar coated the reality of humanity,''said Klaus as he sits down on the ground,'' It is all meaningless you know.''

when shina had entered the tower she had saw a fair amount of pepole but the only two that stood out to her was a wolf man and a man missing his left arm that was replaced with a robotic arm, she had aproched the man wiht the robotic arm and has asked him "do you know were i can sighn up for the Spirit Force Devision?" she looked at the man emotionless awaiting his answer

Shinyo said to Klaus, "Well pleasure to make your acquaintance sir. I am Shinyo Necron." Shinyo turned to the man in a black trenchcoat and said, "And who are you sir?"

Viola ended her song and a girl walked up to her and said, "What a lovely tune." Viola turned and said, "Why thank you. I always love making music and that was one of my favorites."

Tara heard the others talking about a book by Edgar Allen Poe. He was her favorite author, but she didn't want to say anything out loud. Instead, she leaned against the wall and recited lines under her breath:

"Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow;—vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow—sorrow for the lost Lenore..."

Eric smiled and nodded "Yup just sign on the clipboard on the wall"
After he saw everyone signed up he yelled out "Alright recruits! Line up in front of me In fifteen seconds...move it!" He yelled out, smirking alittle knowing he would not be like this all the time.

Shinyo and Viola met next to each other in the line and Viola smiled her usual smile as they awaited the man's orders

Echo lined up, and she stood next to Tara. She gave her a bit of a grin, as if to say hi, before turning her attention to Eric

Looking at Shinyo as Klaus is impressed by this strangers knowledge. Putting his hand forward as he shakes Shinyo's hand,''Pleasure to meet you too.'' Looking towards the women who started qouting poe leaves Klaus even more impressed.

after shina had finished signing up shina had lined up with the others but whent over to the end of the line instead of trying to squeez in with the others

Tara pretended to pay the gesture of friendship no mind as she got at the very front of the line, behind Eric.

"I don't care about anything meaningless, since it's still there we just have to deal with it, also; that is from The Living Age, Volume 157, Page 113." His memory was perfect, so he memorized the page and volume he found it in.

"Now, enough of quotes, I am Gajeel Volk. It is somewhat of a pleasure to meet you two. Now, I am assuming that you are here to join the Spirit Force, correct?"

His ears twitched to the sound of soft muttering of speech under a female's breath. "Someone else seems to enjoy the same kind of literature nearby."

Tara paid the comment no mind, instead choosing to take note of said person's sharp hearing.

Eric smiled and almost fell over laughing, wiping a tear from his eyes "Okay okay..my name is Eric Rose former leader of the Spirit Masters the group of heroes that saved the world and stopped the war between Spirit users and humans, you all are my cadets and I'm your captain, you listen to what I say and do it when I say it okay?"

Shinyo still had his hood on and the old man said, "Alright everyone, I would like to first ask everone with a hood to take it off so I can see your faces clearly." Shinyo nodded his head and took off the hood, revealing his scar to everyone.

Viola remembered the story Shonyo told him of how he got the scar and remembered Shinyo's true goal for this.

''Its all meaningless because when we die, who would remember us?'' asked Klaus before he got up as Eric entered the room and commanded the others to get in line. Breathing softly as he grabs hold of his briefcase to make sure he won't forget his valuables. ''Looks like we have go,'' says Klaus as he obeys the orders.

"Understood, master." Tara said. She was used to behaving formally because of her years of training under masters of combat.

Tara instead chose to place her helmet back on her head when Shinyo asked to remove hoods. She felt more comfortable with it on.

Echo froze in awe, her smile fading in favor of a shocked expression.

"Eric of the Spirit Masters... I've read of you."

She took one hand and put it to a salute, which didn't quite look serious due to her rather lanky status and awes face.

"Y-Yes sir!"

the only thing shina had did was kept quiet and nodded her head agreeing with the man

Eric chuckled "Yes i'd imagine it's in your history books" Eric smiled "You can all relax, Im not that serious about staying all formal"

Kiru had just nearly been thrown out of yet ANOTHER tavern, this making the third now. She was now very drunk and stumbling down the street, unknowingly towards the tower while trying to sing, and doing so very poorly indeed. Eventually staggering into the tower she looked around "oye! What the bloody Hell is this.. this.. whatever the fuck it is... There any shits 'round here that gots some beer? I- I need a drink..."

Gajeel walked up to Eric, and stared him cold in the eyes. "I'm not calling you master, and the only reason I'm here is for my own reasons. I don't care who you are, just don't boast about it." He turned away, and got back in line with his arms crossed. He was cold, and merciless. He wasn't afraid to talk out of line to express what he was thinking. He looked at Klaus. "So, why are you here?"
