Chapter 6: [Spirits]

B.U.N.N.Y shook his head sadly. "I'm afraid my sensors cannot detect specific ethical traits among creatures, such as alignments...I won't be of much help if that is your plan..."

Max chuckled a bit at that one. " 'Old hag'. I've heard that one before, which is strange because I'm neither old nor a hag. And besides, if you're bored, you could always insult me some more. Let's see if you can come up with something a little more original, sunshine." His tone was not to be irritating, but rather entertaining.

Willow bit down on what appeared to be the air and pulled her hand back. As she did, a few tiny lights glowed in front of her, signaling she had her wires ready.

"Try me, buddy...I'll make this wedding a bloodbath in a heartbeat..." Asuya nudged her sister, signaling her to calm down. The look in her eyes said "We made a deal. Stop it." With a sigh, Willow let go of her wires and crossed her arms again, grumbling.

"I hate humans..."

Jaden sighed "What did we get ourselves into..." jaden mutters to himself looking towards Willow and Asuya

Cobra still in his sit was laughing all the while.

(Intelligence) "Contain yourself cobra"

Jaden tossed a cup at Max "Uncle Max...enough...please?"

Willow rolled her eyes and stood up in a huff, along with Asuya, who held onto her.

"Forget this boring-ass ceremony...I'm going to do something fun. Asuya, we're leaving." As Asuya nodded, Willow opened up another shroud into the Void and stepped through. Asuya bowed politely to the others before following her sister in, then the shroud dissipated.

Jaden sighed "Not when your antagonizing Willow..."

"HU, they are gone already." Cobra sighed and sat upright. "Such a shame."

Jaden shook his head "Just don't anger her too much please"

Willow and Asuya soon returned from another shroud. Willow this time had blood splattered on her clothes, and Asuya had blood around her mouth.

"We're back. And less bored."

Jaden blinked and reluctantly walked towards Willow and Asuya, handing them both some towels "Here you go"

Willow licked her lips, which also had some blood on them but shook her head.

"Nah. We look better this way, right sis?" Willow looked over at Asuya, who only stayed quiet and licked her own lips.

Jaden took a deep breath "I...agree with you, you both look better with that...but for the sake of the wedding would you mind just getting some of it off?"

Willow shot Jaden a look of disgust.

"I refuse to adhere to your stupid mortal rituals. I will present myself the way I WANT to present myself, and there's not a damned thing you can say to change my mind. Your stupid human ceremonies only exist to annoy the hell out of me. So yes, I do mind." Willow strutted past Jaden with Asuya behind her.

Jaden spoke calmly "And what of your sister? Does she mind?" Jaden turns around "You both are part of the team after all" Jaden puts his arms up defensively "But go on, you can stay with the blood on you, it makes you look good anyways, I was just offering so it wouldn't stain your clothes" Jaden bows "I apologize"

"That's what I thought." Willow walked to her seat, along with Asuya, who, as usual, remained silent the entire conversation. She sat down next to her sister, awaiting the ceremony to begin.

Jaden sighed "Dammit man I need a vacation...or some stress relief.." Jaden said outloud before walking to the back, grabbing a drink and sipping from it.

"You might as well get a lobatomy because this isn't gonna get any better from here Jaden."

Rex sighed, shaking his head from the rather stupid situation.

Cobra formed on a set right behind willow and asuya. "My. my what did you, in such a sort amount of time." Cobra sounded intrested and had a smile on his face. "And may i say that blood really makes you pop." Cobra went and sat straight up in his seat.

Jaden sighed "Ugh I just wanna go train..." he mumbled "And get the hell out of this city" he added before pouring himself a glass of fruit punch

Without looking back at him, Willow responded with "Slaughtered more civilians at a nearby town. That's all."
