Chapter 6: [Spirits]

Jaden starts spitting out the small flames above his head, trying to not disturb anyone before looking over towards Tara

B.U.N.N.Y, noticing that the ceremony wasn't getting anywhere yet, left a small speaker near the area where he was originally sitting and bounded over to Jaden, wearing a look of concern(that is, however concerned a robot can look).
"Master Jaden, I am detecting high levels of dopamine emanating from your system. This appears to be a constant effect whenever you make eye contact with Miss Tara."

Jaden tilted his head "What do you mean? and whats Dopamine"

"Dopamine is a brain chemical that is released whenever a human experiences something that gives them pleasure. This pleasure can be drawn from happiness or lust."

Max tried to hold back a laugh at this conversation.

Jaden blinked and blushes deeply, going into a small coughing fit "W-Well she is awesome and cute just like Echo, but we are just friends" jaden says with a smile

Cobra overhears the conversation and chuckles softly, trying not to wake willow or asuya. he opens his eyes and bends backwards in his chair to face jaden. "I see why willow calls you lover boy...Lover boy." Cobra laughs.

Jaden tilted his head and looked at max and cobra "I really dont get it, what did I say!"

"Oh im sure you didnt say anything, just the look on your face when staring at the girl, spoke volumes."Cobra said sarcastically. Cobra looked back at the sky and closed his eyes.

Jaden sighed in frustration, breathing some fire above his head an annoyance

Echo watched on silently from the back. This was the first time in ages she didn't have her robes and bandages on, and instead she wore a simple white dress. Sad thing was, she had needed to have one custom made for her, which took God knows how much money of her salary. It's not everyday you see a washboard walking into a wedding.

Regardless, everything around her was beginning to get to her. The loud music, the conversations before her... and then Asuya was there, sleeping in Willow's arms.

Echo could still remember...

"You're more of a sister to me than she'll ever be..."

How had things gone so wrong?

Melissandra grumbled incoherently in her seat. Fucking B.U.N.N.Y. She hated loud noises. Her ears flattened against her head while she waited with AA in her arms. Melissandra had decided to go in a simple tuxedo for the occasion. Normally she'd want a dress, but AA had insisted on her being the tux to ehr dress or something like that. Regardless, she was their, AA was happy. And so was she.

jaden walked over to Echo and smiled lightly, wrapping an arm around her gently "Feeling okay? you seem deep in thought"

Echo doesn't move to return the gesture, doesn't really move at all. He mind was too caught up in the flood of thoughts and emotions to really care.

"I'm fine." He voice was distant, though. The only reason she had replied was because it was instinctual. She had to respond, didn't she? Because if she didn't, she might have to talk. And that wasn't something she was up for right now.

Jaden looked at Echo and could tell how deep in thought she was, gently wrapping one of his wings around her, he stood next to her comfortably, sighing happily before looking up into the sky.

After a few minutes, Asuya and Willow had woken up. Asuya blinked a few times and yawned quietly while Willow stretched a bit. Looking around, Willow sighed in annoyance.

"This damn thing STILL hasn't started? Ugh...You humans and your stupid ceremonies bore the crap out of me..." Willow stood up, which caused Asuya to fall into the seat Willow was sitting in. Asuya rubbed her head and stood up as well, following her sister, who decided to march over to the others.

"How much longer do you expect us to wait for your petty friends? Asuya and I are losing our patience...we agreed to a truce, not torture."

Jaden looked at Willow "You agreed to a truce to be our allies, well this is your allies wedding so you must endure for now, i apologize"

Willow's eye seemed to twitch. No one had ever apologized to her before, let alone lover boy. She growled.

"Whatever..." She turned to Max before asking "What are you looking at?" But walked off before Max could respond. Willow hated being told what to do, and now she was wondering why she made the stupid truce to begin with. Asuya blinked and looked at Willow, then at Jaden, then bowed before running to catch up to her sister.

Cobra looked up at willow and asuya form his seat that was next to them. "I know how you feel, its quite boring It takes forever." Cobra stretched his neck collar, "But ,Willow, just  few more minutes of patience, and im sure you will both be doing what you want to be doing."

At this point Willow was not in the mood to hear Cobra's words of wisdom. As she sat back down, she blatantly ignored him while Asuya sat down next to her, silent as always. She began twirling her hair around her finger.

Jaden tilted his head gently "Hmm...maybe there is some good left in them....just need to bring it out"

Echo stayed silent during the exchange, but it took all her will not to attack Willow. Between the truce and certain death, she couldn't. She couldn't risk all of that because of her own losses.

But it was still tempting.

Willow sneered at Max.

"Go away you old hag. Nobody wants to talk to you, especially me." She then crossed her arms and leaned against Asuya, who gently stroked her hair. After a few seconds, Willow calmed down and began to feel better. Even though she was still bored.
