RWBY: Warriors of Vale Chapter 1: Intro

Harblu goes closer to Brady, and targets him with the medigun. Harblu going through her medigun modes, she sets it to the default setting "Uber."

"Now all that we needed to do is just wait for it to come out. Then we can get this show on the road." Harblu says as she throws her journal to the side, and stretches out her gloves and slaps them onto her arms. "And sure, go ahead. Just know as soon as it comes out, we're going in and doing as much as we can."

Torch smirked. "Ree-lax, Harblu, this'll be easy, I'll just roast the thing alive. Although if you don't mind, I'll stay back here and do it..."

"Ya know, that is perfectly fine by me." Harblu gave Torch the okay to do Torch things.

Brady primed his gun and readied himself for combat. He felt the strength of the medigun and he was ready at that moment.

Kiba rolled around in his bed, sighing. "Where the hell are my team mates!?" He whimpered, then frowned. "Screw it, I'll look for 'em." He hopped off the bed and ran out of the door. "Oh, think I should find that one kid, err Kino I think."

Julia's eyes widened, she shouted on instinct "Brady watch out!" She knew he couldn't hear her but she still did it anyway, worried about her friend as the monster attacked them

Harblu flips a switch on her medigun, and pops uber on Brady. She flips it so fast, to the point it was based on impulse. Both the power of the medigun would incoat Harblu and Brady, in a shiny, red metal coat, that covered their hole bodies. All you could see off of them is Red. However the uber had a purpose. Its purpose protected Brady and Harblu from attacks, giving them invulnerability as long as she had uber. Sure her charge would start going down, but it would have lasted long enough.

"Okay, Push in now." She instructed her team, following closely behind Brady.

Kaori sighed as he looked up at the door number. Team 1 would be consisting of four members like the rest, himself included, but he knew something was off. At least to him. Shaking it off, he entered the room.

"Coming in...Team 1, right..?" Kaori blinked as he saw the two females in the room. Girls..? They matched him with girls? Kaori thought it was extremely odd, even though he looked female to everyone else, that he'd be paired in the same room as two females. However, he recognized one of them. It was that girl who ran away from the group on the ship...A faunus. Kaori's eye twitched. They not only paired him with two girls, but one of them was a faunus.

"Uh...H-Hey...I'm Kaori..."

Brady tanked the attack and opened with some Orange Lava Dust shots on both the ground and on the armor of the giant scorpion. As the shots made contact and were left in the ground and the armor, Brady told the team to get back as small pools of molten lava formed on the armor and around the legs of the large insect to hopefully melt the armor. He then converted the rifle to sword form and said, "Lets go Harblu." Brady then rushed in, sidestepping the lava, and took a diagonal slash from the left at the Stalker.

Quaid backed up behind Harblu and Brady and concentrated, the debris from the cave flying to the sides and away from them. He concentrated, softening the earth from below the scorpion's feet into a quicksand-like substance. Around him, metal blocks were rising up and making a small barrier.

Torch drew his calibers and opened fire on the beast with full plasma blast, making sure the others were out of the way.

Kida iignored Yuri completely while i was standing infront of him. It got on her nerves. She saw him ran our of the door. She quickly grabbed a book and threw it aiming for his head. She turns around and walks stamping with her feet on the ground to her bed. UUHGHH why are guys  always such jerks. Why do i hve to be in a team with a asshole like that She was angry for a few moments.. Like it did matter.. Maby the other two were no jerks. like Kiba was.

I open my bag and start to eat cookies out of anger.

"Kino?" Kiba roamed around the area looking for the man. He lifted his nose and began to sniff the air, his human ears twitching. "Got him." He said as he began to sprint in Kino's direction. Kiba skidded to a stop when he heard the book hit the floor. He turned around and went back to the room. "Huh? Oh! SORRY!" He looked at the girl. "I didn't notice you, I was kinda distracted. I didn't ignore you on purpose."

Harblu's uber started to fade. As it faded, the red coat started to darken and lighten repeadily. It would fully wear off by the time. Harblu then took this time to stop healing Quaid for a bit, as she switched to the crossbow.

"Hey Brady! Catch" Harblu instructed, as Harblu fired her normal bolts towards where Brady was going. The bolt itself wouldn't do much, but it would give some extra health to Brady if he needed it. If it missed Brady, it would most likely hit the death stalker, dealing atleast mid range damage, however being the nature of a death stalker, it would most likely tank it. If Brady got hit by the syringe, Brady would recieve 50% of his health back.

She then switched it back to her medigun quickly caught back up to Quaid, healing him. (Uber: 3%)

Brady fell out of reach of the stinger but caught the bolts Harblu fired with his back and felt the health increase. He then used the momentum to bounce off its back and make another attempt to cut off the stinger at the section where the glowing yellow stinger connects to the tail.

Quaid smiled, the metal walls he created had unfurled as he sent all three directly at the beast and concentrated. His sword lit and sharpened as it entered Tier Two: Beryl Edge. He charged the thing with newfound speed and no regard for his life whatsoever.

Torch simply opened fire once more, this time aiming for its eyes, if this made contact it would blind the thing, and the range of the beam was wide enough that it would be increasingly difficult to dodge, but not wide enough that it would hit anyone else.

Harblu pulls back out of range of the medigun, stopping the healing towards Quaid. Instead, Harblu goes behind Torch and starts to heal him.

"Nice job so far guys. Keep up the good work." Harblu tells her team into comms, giving them some encouragement. (Uber: 21%)

Brady pocketed his sword on the strap on his back and used his strength to grab onto stinger as it tried to flick him. He then said, "Nice try roach face." He then held a firm grip with his left hand as he pulled out the sword with his right hand and went for a diagonal cut from the right to cut down the stinger.

Quaid dashed straight past the attack and leaped above the beasts' head, landing on its back. Before the leap, he had willed the earth to summon four metal spires to cross at 45 degree angles over the beasts back and claws and keep the beast in place. Even for the Death Stalker, these spires would be extremely difficult to break.

Torch repeated the same attack, not letting up, this attack would once again blind the thing if it made contact, and wouldn't hit anyone else, but would be extremely difficult to dodge.

"Thats it! Nice work." Harblu complimented her team, stopping he healing towards Torch to try to shoot a bolt towards Brady again, hoping to hit him and not the grimm. She switches it back to her medigun and continues to heal Torch, following him. (Uber: 33%)

Brady focused on getting hit by the healing bolt of Harblu by grabbing onto the stinger and holding a firm grip to make sure it did not fling him. He felt the Grimm trying to pull him and hit him against the cliff, but his strength held him long enough for the bolt to reach him and strike him. He then let the beast take him as he use the energy of force the beast tried to use to launch himself in the air and he yelled, "Yee Haw Bitch!" He then came down with his sword slashing upward in a diagonal from the left.

Quaid nodded with satisfaction. "Time to end this." He drew his sword and entered Tier 3: Valiant Edge, greatly increasing his speed, strangth, durability, agility, thinking skills,etc. . He drove his sword straight into the beasts back, using his newfound strength, the sharpness of the sword and the attack speed to build up velocity, with that much power Quaid would be able to crack the shell.

"Thanks, Harbs, I try." Torch seemed pleased with himself. He swapped the caliber modes, changing them into flame throwers. "Alright, time for some fireworks." He dashed in close on the beasts right side with Harblu following and blasted the right set of legs with flames.

Harblu continues to heal Torch, but goes positions herself up to where Brady was, trying to keep her distance from the grimm, but also keeping her beam on Brady.

"Hey this should give you the strength you need to get up." She contiuned to encourage Brady, Mean while she told the team in comms "Alright, just one last push."

Brady was thrown down and he felt Harblu's medigun heal him. He gave a smile as he saw how Quiad's sword was stuck in the beast and said, "Alright if that is how you like to play..." He then used his boost to jump onto the beast and then focused the majority of his aura into his foot to perform a Titan's Stomp and send the sword deeper into the monster's back and yelled, "Alright Quaid, let em rip!!!" Brady then hopped off the beast and ran to the side to let Quaid finish it. (25/40)

Harblu also moved along with Brady's boost, boosting herself so that she would then go over to where Quaid was and start to heal him instead of Brady. (Uber: 51%)

Quaid let go of his sword and jumped off of the beasts back, landing safely on the ground in front of it. He saw Brady push the sword deeper in. "You got it, man, let's end this!" He raised his hand, and te sword flew back to him...but in order to do so it would slice through the Death Stalker's entire front half to reach his hand, and with the added boosts from Valiant Edge, it would be like cutting through butter. (5/40)

Torch nodded, switching one flamethrower back to a caliber and continuing his barrage against the beasts' side.

Harblu notices the grimm come towards her and Quaid.

"Brady, now."

Brady saw the beast barreling towards Harblu and Quaid and then used his boost to jump in front of the beast and push it back with his strength. He then said to Quaid and Harblu, "G-Go!"

Harblu focues her medigun on Brady healing him and preparing for when Brady uses his Titan's boost. "Ready when you are." (Uber: 69%)

Quaid nodded and jumped to the side, grabbing Harblu by the waist with his other hand and landing in the dirt safely out of the way. He quickly recoiled from Harblu.
"Yeek! I mean, uh, you good?" He was terrified and confused now, but he fought it down. (5/40)

"Meh, nothing a little bit of medicine can't fix. Though that works too even though I had my plans."

Brady jumped out of the way of the beast and let it crash into some trees. He was excited and he looked to the team and thought, "Maybe we do make a good team."

Torch applauded slowly. "Great job, team, we did good for out first mission." Quaid, Brady and Harblu would be unable to tell if he was using sarcasm or not.
